@@inedits4991 Debling would probably be proud or not surprise at all, he vibes like that friend who always has your back and cheer for you. I am alright with him not being in-love with Pen and figuring out immediately that some spark is going on between Colin and Pen. I did not find that kind of Drama necessary, since from the first season Colin was already one step away from falling deeply to Pen. He only needs a slight push and an enormous amount of time with himself to gain that self-assurance that I felt he deserve. I did want him to be in agony a bit longer though, with different reason that is most vocal in the internet. I wanted Pen to be resign with the false idea that Colin can never be with her the way she wanted it to be, and that she cannot be satisfied with being merely friends with him, hence she would put distance between them and downplay any telling sign that he felt romantic emotion towards her. Ultimately making it so that Pen would find fault in herself, more than she would find fault with Colin. I just think it would fit more perfectly, especially with Pen's up bringing, the way she portrayed herself in the LW papers and the societal standard in their world. Beside Lord Debling is too good to be a third wheel in their drama lol.
