Dejan Ribic Well, I don’t actually listen to Flume but when I listen to the sound design of the drop I think of Skrillex and not other guy, it has the Skrillex vibes, the whole layering sounds like Skrillex, maybe the chords are not original and that’s true tho, they’re very simple but still, I like this :p

Jarrod Guy it was clearly on purpose, whenever there’s a missing file in Premiere or After effects, the whole segment of the clip is just a yellow background with the missing file error. They probably did get the error and thought that it would look cool so they included the text in it.

SoldierSZ i think that just because a certain genre has very characteristic qualities, like in this case with future bass' sharp chords or watery percussions makes it a bad genre. And this genre is relatively new, meaning that there's still a lot of room to experiment with. You saying that you dont like the genre is ok, but saying that it is shit and all the songs sound the same is pretty stupid.

When this song first came out, I was just getting into edm, and I only liked the more popular dubstep. I was literally in the first thousand people to hear this song, and I didn’t like it. I returned to it around five months later, and from that point on, this has been my favorite skrillex song.
