    Bind hoof with bread? That's very interesting. It's not clear to me what kind of hoof that is...or, what animal the hoof is from (?) If I were on that street in Penang, I'd probably get it just to try it out. Of course, I'd get a plate of char kway teow too and a big slice of murtabak as well.

    At least the woman used a metal plate to fry the bee hoon.Singapore hawkers always used PLASTIC plates.

  • @StrongTigerFriends

    @StrongTigerFriends

    Жыл бұрын

    Actually, the plastic plates used are usually melamine which is food safe and heat-resistant. Depending on the type of metal plate she used, ie aluminium or stainless steel, melamine may be safer. Not all plastic plates are bad when the proper ones are used. In Singapore, use and sales of food grade crockery and utensils is strictly regulated.

    When comes to street food anywhere, please check the environment where these food are served. IF it is dirty, next to the drain or served by people in a distasteful ways (like the food stuff all over the place), the PLEASE for health concern, do not buy them.

    Those pork buns are delicious. But seeing him handling it with bare hands and no gloves , i got turned off. Am sure, These street food vendors are well informed about hygiene preparation, when applying for their licences. Another blandly ignorance from the health authorities.
