Palmer insisting on taking the PK killed the team spirit and momentum. They struggled afterwards until they were all subbed chelsea wasnt dangerous further in the match. Selfishness at that point was completely unnecessary

The role of a dedicated penalty taker is to take the penalty when the situation is absolutely necessary but here Palmer has already scored a hat-trick so this last Penalty was in no way an obligation under this rule. And the goal is for the players to feel confident, Noni should have taken this penalty and Palmer should have given it to him like a real leader.

When Chelsea got the penalty while they were down 3-2 against united, neither of them got even close to asking to take it, they weren't confident enough there, but on a 4-0 game they feel big enough to ask your most important player (well 'ask', they were demanding) to give up the pen while he's competing for the golden boot. Also, it would've been SOOOOO MUCH DIFFERENT if instead of demanding for it, they got to Palmer, check on his condition and then ask if they could take it since you know, it's Palmer's decision to make, not theirs. You don’t take the ball off him when he’s on the pitch and the manager has said he’s the guy multiple times. Cole Palmer has not missed from the spot, and he’s level with Haaland for goals. dont care palmer takes how many pens bc he is the damn main penalty taker in this squad no matter what he has earned that ...noni & jackson are kids with childish behaviour if they want goals & confidence then go score some individual goals ffs & earn it.

This is exactly why we've had a shitty season this year. No team spirt, no cohesion, it almost looked like Jackson was hoping for Palmer to miss the pen. Playing like individuals and not a TEAM, is what has caused us to languish as a mid-table team this season. These kinds of players are harmful to the club and need to be moved out ASAP.

A game like that and there's still something to complain about. Jackson and Madueke, what do you think you are? How embarrassing from those two on the penalty kick. This reflects how big their ego is and how much you care about the club (their ego is bigger). They must be punished.

Without them, your club would be relegated. Your palmer only appears when there are penalties scored. He has 10 penalties this season. Do you think he created them on his own? Lol. I don't agree with their behavior but Palmer already has 3 goals, he should have acted like a real leader and given the ball to Noni to give him confidence because he was important in the previous matches. Now put them on the bench for the next matches so we can have a little laugh.

And who says penalties ain't part of the game? we have a bunch of kids, as a blues fan I think these two (mandueke and Jackson) barely do anything... I think we can cut the dead wood next transfer window and get team players... build the team around Palmer, keep gallagher as the captain, find a replacement for Silva and every single signing needs to be proud to wear the Chelsea crest, this was bloody disgraceful to watch!

This is the reason why we are in this posiion, this isn't the first time something like this is happening. The Coach should address the situation..

Gallagher is already a racist towards children so I'm not even surprised by his aggressive behavior towards his black teammates but Palmer disappointed me. First off, what is Noni doing by hugging the ball insisting he'll take the pen when our Pen taker is on the pitch. If he really wanted to take it he should have had a word with Palmer and if he says yes fine if he says no let it go. Palmer is the designated penalty taker whether he has scored 10 before the Pen or not. Jackson backing Noni up and refusing to celebrate with Palner was just embarrassing and not Chelsea like at all. POCH needs to talk some sense into these lads

Disgusting displays by both Madueke and Jackson. The last time I saw anything like that or as bad as that was when I was thirteen and one of my mates because he couldn’t take the penalty took his ball home🤣. Madueke and Jackson disrespected Palmer so badly, not to mention the team and what we are trying to achieve. They should be removed from the club at the earliest opportunity. Who knows whether or not goal difference will be a deciding factor on whether we qualify for European competition next season, and these two idiots put on a display of their own personal egos above the team.
