Many many times was learning about this two diseases. After your short video, I got it. Every time I am coming back to this topic, in my ears your voice is whispering- “vulgaris” , very bad “ vulgaris”. Thanks a lot.

I presented with Bullous Pemphigoid last year at 57 years of age. It started on my hands and has progressed to my feet. I have resisted steroids and cortisone treatments because of the numerous side effects. One product that has provided amazing results is Stratamed, which is a silicone gel that forms a protective film over the blister or broken skin. I have only been using this for 3 days and can already see remarkable results. The blisters shrink and the open sounds are healing really quickly. It's not cheap...here in Australia, $48 for 10g, but so worth it... I've spent a fortune on bandaids and bandages that you can't apply on knuckles or between fingers. I would recommend this gel to other sufferers for sure.

Pemphigus vulgaris occurs in older people (mean age 60 years) not younger. Other than that, this video is really good (it made things much easier to remember for exams 😀 ). Thank you!

Pemphigus vulgaris occurs in younger patients relative to bullous pemphigoid. Pemphigus vulgaris is most commonly diagnosed between ages 40 to 60 (however, it may occur at any age), and bullous pemphigoid occurs in the very elderly (around 65 years of age) and almost never in children. Therefore, stating that pemphigus vulgaris develops in younger patients is accurate. Thank you and good luck on your exams!

Onset 11/14... significant recovery 6/2017. 2018 only minor, occasional blistering and typically appearing below knees... and especially on old site locations. Clobetasol , Benadryl 100mg every 4 hrs, doxycycline …. Prayers prayers and prayers.... and never blaming God. Oddly, once returned to 'apparent' health... RLS began and the prime cause is Benadryl !! Benadryl was a significant reliever during this experience.. then it became the aggravator of RLS. And.... be very aware that any use of pain medications... namely opioids... can be very counter productive since it allows exacerbation of all symptoms
