Pembroke Dock and Rosslare Harbour (2022)
In this film, we look into Pembroke Dock and Rosslare Harbour, two Celtic port towns that are connected and intertwined by the ferries which serve them. We get to know the history of these routes, the wonderful wildlife and the relationships that they continue to nourish. We meet up with Welsh and Irish locals, Greg, Ceris and Padraig, who show us how they're inspired by the raw natural beauty of the landscape and the astonishing sea birds that can be encountered on this fascinating crossing.
Produced by Mother Goose Films and shot on location in ferry port towns of Ireland and Wales. Commissioned by Aberystwyth University as part of the Ports, Past and Present project. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Co-operation Programme.
