Pelvic floor relaxation routine
In this video I take you through 5 poses/exercises that are designed to open the pelvis, relax the muscles and give some room for the pelvic floor muscles to move through their range of motion. I have been doing these stretches every day now..I have been in so much pain in the lower abdomen, back and extending towards my leg, really doing these stretches is making a great difference…such a great relief…

I am in Ontario Canada
I've had a tight pelvic floor for months now. Will the exercise at 7:00 help make it loose again and if i did it once a day for 5 min, how long will I need to do it?

These exercises are designed to help you connect with your body, bring gentle relaxing movement and increase flexibility through the tissues. There can be a number of contributing factors to pelvic floor tension and likely if you've had it for awhile now, it may require more than just one stretch. It is important for muscles to move and some kind of movement exercise should just be part of your daily lifestyle. I recommend you seek advice and proper assessment from a local professional.
Can you do a video of pelvic movement on top of pillow I heard you can do that can you show me

Ryan Kinsella yes if tension is present. These exercises are about relaxing and letting go of tension in the pelvic region.

ECO Physiotherapy thank you. I will give it a shot. Currently suffering from a ic flare with horrible spasms. I am sitting in the urologists office right now actually.

I am sorry to hear that. I hope your doctor will be able to help you. If you aren't already seeing a pelvic health physiotherapist, search for a few in your area. It can really help as part of a team

Thank you, I will check into that, the urologist gave me something called uribel and flexeril.

Hi Luis, As per my previous comment on another exercise. Please seek out a qualified professional to do a proper assessment. There can be a number of different reason you would get a headache. I suggest you do NOT continue but see a professional on which exercise would be best for you.

Please, do you know any good technique to make bowel movements? By the way, bowel movements have become unpleasant for me since I feel the need of peeing frequently after. Thanks.

Marcos Gallardo I did make a video on toilet exercises that can help with bowel movements on the toilet. Its called Let's Talk Toilet Habits. Hope it helps.
