Nice story. Just wondering - how far back we should go to call it our tradition ( SAmpradayam). We tend to think 100 or 200 hundred years - is it not? Why to stop there.? Humans, however, living on Indian subcontinent for several thousands of years. I am sure they were not even able to speak a set language let alone to call themselves as Brahmins. Human beings of that era ate what they could to survive without any hesitation. When we accept them as our ancestors, why can not we accept their food habits as traditional? I know, everyone thinks I am weird. LOL
