I really enjoy WW's videos as they are fun and very informative. This one is top shelf - it has made me stop and rethink my approach of attacking a peg as too often in past I've unwittingly been guilty of over feeding and killing the swim. Many thanks to Jamie for sharing these top tips and Andy's inquisitive interviewing to draw out the detail. Tight lines to you both.

This is the difference between good anglers and great anglers, it doesn’t matter if you have latest expensive gear or that your sponsored or even if you copy his rigs. What separates them above every one else is what they do, when they do it and why they do it. With that angling brain and how he adapts and evolves throughout a match I’m sure he’d just be as successful on natural waters...........and this is from someone who doesn’t like commercials!!

Great video, back to fishing after 10 years away and things have moved on since the big pot on 4 lines. Would this be your starting point on a more natural venue with a big head of bream and tench?

Priceless information. I don’t fish commercials very often but it seems I kill my peg from the start. I’ll keep the cupping kit in the bag next time.

Just a thought, Jamie... assuming the fishery allows it; when you want to make some noise, but don't want to add any more feed, why not use a few pieces of aquarium gravel rather than more pellets?

It's always a safe way to start the session and gauge the reaction of the fish, you're not ruining anything too early. Keep an eye on what other people do and don't catch on and just feel your way in.
