True, tho I guess for most introverts, any one on one convo with someone you basically just met will start awkward until you get to know them better, and if you click you'll start becoming talkative (or not, depending on the person, but you'd at least start to be "closer" to the person, maybe even physically). The great thing about Polka is the suddenness of the switch from awkward to close, plus her comedic timing, along with the fact that (for now, at least) their only apparent commonality is liking underwear lol

Nui has said in her free-talk stream in 2020 that when she's trying out vtuber audition she prefer Nijisanji over Hololive because how Hololive back then really sells as idol vtubers and she felt that she wouldn't really fit in. Keep in mind even with how 'un-seiso' Hololive has becomes, Nijisanji is still the den of 'unhinged' individual, Nui for example has no problem saying d*ck/ch*nchin naturally on stream while holomembers would blush even when saying kintama (except nenechi, perhaps). Hololive might be not seiso, but they're not straight up 'degenerates' like some nji livers are known for, and it's totally fine. The talent totally knows their market segment.

Niji and Holo actually had lot more interaction during early days, like Roboco with Kaede, Matsuri and Haachama with Hoshikawa, Subaru with Maimoto, and many more Even Pekora has been appearing on Himawari stream in the past. Suisei also a close friend with Inui Toko since her pre-hololive days, what would be interesting and maybe a bit awkward is probably Luna collab with Niji members.
