Peer Gynt Animation based on Henrik Ibsen a Norwegian Playright

Someone created an animation using the epic drama written by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen in 1867 as an idea for the animated video. In Henrik Ibsen’s story “Peer Gynt” is a Norwegian farm lad who wastes his time in lazy dreaming, boasting and brawling--a symbol of the man who ever colors truth and fact in wishful compromises, evasion and selfishness.
It appears when the animation was created the name Peer Gynt was used to get more viewers. His character of being a lazy lad who foolishly enters the challenge of a boat race and does not realize until too late he was over his head made for a great moral story. Of course in Henrik Iben’s drama the story of the boat race does not happen. In Henrik Iben’s story there is a ship wreck when he returns home to Norway, but not a race.
