Any tips for corn syrup substitute?

I haven't tried any of these, but I saw online you can substitute honey, molasses, sugar dissolved in water, or maple syrup--let me know if you try one of these!

LOL... I am a pecan pie junkie. It is my all time favorite pie. TY for sharing this recipe. I have to try this. I did mint juleps for the Kentucky Derby. I think pie is much safer, but the mint juleps were exceptional too. Congrats on the new baby. TY MH

I made a batch of pecan bars to put on my Christmas gift plates. I used a recipe from a well known source. While they were good, they weren't great. There was very little "goo" , so they really should have been called pecan bars, not pecan pie bars. Anyway, your recipe looks much better to me. I'll be using this one next time I make these bars. Thanks so much for posting.
