I think this transport is wonderful, for me it would be a great gift.I would use the same one for work and do small maintenance work where I would take materials without worrying about carrying them in my arms ☺️👍

I think it’s really good that you can bike to work instead of driving, in a Pebble. I wish I could do that as well. 😃

Saw a couple Nebraska liscence plates, are you local mid-west? Contemplating getting one to ditch gas guzzlers year round vs only riding my ONYX RCR.

I am near Des Moines, BetterBike is coming out with PEBL 2.0 and am considering one and selling mine. If you are interested we should get in touch. That’s when I know they are available for order and funding for mine.

Hi. Sorry for the intrusion but I’d like to ask if the defroster thing that you mentioned draws much power AND whether it is greatly reducing your range? Did you buy it from online ( link please)? Did you also have to do any “backyard engineering “ to add it? How effective is it? Would it help to have 2 of them?

@@gregbanschbach8970 I no longer have the PEBL anymore if you’ve seen my most recent videos. The defroster wasn’t the greatest except when clearing condensation off the windshield after it would fog up. It would keep it off. For icing it was no good 👎 2 would drain the battery, I can’t remember the wattage, I bought my defroster from Menards, you can get one any hardware store, used a cigarette lighter hook up and a 48v to 12v down-step converter I showed the hookups in another video.

The ELF has no floor. The PEBL does. Both vehicles cannot keep up with traffic and are too slow as this video confirms.

They are both bicycles, legal to ride a bicycle on the road. Why do you think it would be able to keep up with traffic? If it was able to keep up with traffic I would need to license it so your statement is void.

@@jdrum3053 Elf is a lot faster than this... You don't need a floor!

Geovanni D. It gets -5 at times when I ride. I do need a floor to keep the heat in.

@@jdrum3053 in winter conditions I'd definitely make an attempt to enclose the space. It would be cheaper to DIY.

I'm enjoying your rides. Are u able to keep up your cadence in the nuvinci top gear with the highest speed of motor? I have a home grown delta with a goldenmotor vector and I can keep up with it, top speed 32kph Cheers

PATRICK MCKOWEN Sorry it took so long to answer, I have a new video up explaining the gearing and shifting of the new systems. They use a Stormy Archer system which works a little different from the Nuevinchie

Thank you for sharing you video. I don't mean to be rude, I think the PEBLs seem like a really great idea, but are they that much better than a regular e-bike and a rain coat?

Alexander Sam Wilkinson - I bike commuted from 1986 to 1994 year-round in the rain forest climate of Vancouver. In that time I had a good system of clothing and bike. To offer an answer to your question, from what I can see here: yes, it's better. And warmer. The exact reason I'm watching it. My other option would be an Electrameccanica Solo, but that's a car, or in the US, a motorcycle

@@jdrum3053 Look at the German channel of Rene Kreher. He took an (expensive) trike, put many solar cells on the roof and build himself a caravan where he's able to pass a night at freezing temperatures. Crazy guy! And he makes like a 100 miles per day on his trips, even more.
