I spent my childhood/adolescence in the 60's/70's surrounded by family/friends/neighbours, free from electronic devices and social media. It was a very special time, with wonderful memories of playing with friends in the neighbourhood and Sundays at different relatives surrounded by loads of cousins. Everyone was looking out for each other ... community!

I can't wait!!

Many of us I think have got to a place where over time we have had our autonomy eroded. We have been encouraged to believe the best way to live is to keep your head down and not to question anything, and that we cannot affect change. That what we are told by our governments and the media is the truth and only the way.Things that our now 'normal', telling untruths for example, are allowed to exist even though they don't sit well with us. We are losing our way but I believe, maybe it's hope, that things will change.

We can't sit back and let it all fall apart. I'm very hopeful that people are slowly being woken up and realizing that we've gone off the deep end...and we need to get back to what this country, and society as a whole used to be.

Thanks as always for your excellent and insightful reaction. This is a masterwork for sure. Ren went back to Brighton earlier in the year to film this. He is still in Canada and currently celebrating his #1 album on the UK charts last week. All of his mates came over last week to celebrate with him which was fun to watch.

You do need KZread Premium to watch that, at the time of my writing this. As much as KZread has allowed me to view great content... I just don't like giving them money when it's Ren that worked his ass off (and those who worked with and around him) that deserves any kind of monetary reward. So no. I haven't seen the after-party yet, unfortunately. I did see a comment saying it will be taken off Premium after 3 weeks... think it's been about 3 weeks. I'll keep checking.

@@woodywoodman2319 Yeah, one of the guys I follow was demonitized... most likely because of the shorts we were told were totally allowable. Same thing happened to my hubby's skateboard channel. He had to delete all of his shorts that weren't HIS video footage and reapply. I might end up having to go to Rumble. KZread is making it hard for anyone to make money. I certainly don't have the views to make anything substantial lol!!

Thought it was great that you got the transition from the literal story to the larger lesson. The inconvenient line “it’s a version of you there’s no escaping the blame” shifts the focus but seems like many reactors can’t take that on board. If he was talking about BG Jr he would've had to switch it to his mom and add 4 yrs since he was 39 when she passed. BG Sr. Passed in 2020. They were unique people. Definitely 1 of a kind eclectic types. but But it's definitely gives you something to think about. So many people have been hit with the greedy bug that he could be talking about a single person or society in general.. 💗💗

What Ren means by "my solution… We could build utopias if individuals were taught to use their brains”. People working, thinking together to solve problems, just like in his "Money Game"-game. Imagine all the brilliant minds in this world, not lead by an agenda of their own, or a campagne to be elected or reelected, not with the thought "how can I fill my pockets the fastest way", not lead by lobbyists of whatever industry, be it weapons, chemicals, drugs, criminals....

@@MrsRealistic A living wage and I mean a LIVING WAGE where the people can LIVE... everyone needs enough to own a house and have 3 weeks of paid vacations and 401k. 10 paid sick days. 30 sick days without being fired. the balance would make for 80% fewer people in prisons. on govt acceptance ETC. much smaller government. we have to go after them all. both parties!!

While I agree everyone should be able to live comfortably, it's a pretty complex issue. And as far as the parties go, I agree... They're two wings on the same bird. There are very few politicians who actually try to change anything. They could start by getting rid of the scam that is health insurance and make getting health care affordable for the middle class.

The fair use thing you added at the beginning of your videos is a little off for me. It's an American law, this is a video from the UK... not how international law works. Anyway, Ren doesn't strike videos of reactors. He even whitelist reactors that reach him because they automatically get striked by youtube.

It's for KZread, not international law. It doesn't matter where the music is from, KZread automatically claims almost everything. Ren will release the claims once I dispute them via KZread. I get copyright claims for every video I do...many claim disputes I do are rejected. In fact, my Dax remix video I have had up for a month just got totally blocked and isn't even viewable anymore. We reactors have very little say in what we're able to monetize. Once it's on KZread, it doesn't matter where the artist is from. Pretty much every reactor has some form of "fair use" up on their channel or on the description in the hopes that it might help NOT trigger a claim. It's really a crap shoot.

@MrsRealistic yeah, I understand. What I meant is just that it doesn't help. KZread is based in the USA, and the video is from the UK. So, if KZread really wants to claim your video, it can use either the American law or the British. That's what makes it an international dispute. So in the end, if they really want to claim, they will. So it'd be better just not to put any disclaimer of fair use, so the video would be "cleaner". But I get your point. You are doing whatever you can. Best of luck anyway!

What? I LOVE rap! Just not the new "C-rap" put out by the main stream! I look forward to hearing Seven Sins! I've gotten a few requests for it! I don't know which is my fav...But I did REALLY love #2 as well!

Long gone are the words of JFK "Ask not what your Country can do for you, Ask what you can do for your Country", these words are now seen by multitudes as soft & laughable platitudes. I mean just look around you my friend and you can see how most people keep to themselves these day's and don't look past there own WANTS & NEEDS. I grew up in a middle class blue collar family, living in the suburbs. Back then the neighbors all knew one another. Kids, on the block hung out & played with one another, family's had block parties. Most people these days don't even know who lives next door to them. This society has turned into a "what's in it for ME" collective, where poor education is prevalent and facts don't matter because everyone now has there own set of "Alternative Facts". Nobody questions this stupid new phrase because there is no such thing as "Alternative Facts". The alternative to facts is falsehoods, fictions and lies. When you put the word Facts next to Alternative, well now, that makes it real and true now, doesn't it? Nope! But it's not difficult to figure out why these problems keep growing and growing in today's society. It all comes back to one reason, "The Money Game". The corporate overlords program society and own every politician, left & right who, in turn, end up doing their bidding instead of working for the interests of the citizens they represent. Oh well, I'm just the old guy finishing his soapbox speech. I'll be dead and gone by the time this world starts to crumble and this generation & the next will reap what's been sowed. ✌😁

You are spot on. That's the world I grew up in too... and a world that I'm sad to say, my children have been robbed of. Technology isn't always a positive thing. The era from which I came will never exist again. It's been replaced by "feelings", woke ideology, video games and algorithms... of which controls even this channel. I try to shield them from it as much as I can, by home schooling and teaching them to be free thinkers... but in the end we'll have to "release them" into the wild and hope that we've done well in raising them. I agree 100%. My kids , now in their 30s, were probably among the last to be able to play out with friends. Even in the 90s some of the kids they played with were learning this kind of attitude, me first. I'm happy to say a few of those old friends have grown into decent 30 somethings, offsetting the negative greedy types.
