A young Eddie Vedder in his prime is like listening to perfection...

Eddie is a surfer and loves the water. I lived in Seattle in the 1980s and 90s during the music boom and Pearl Jam and AIC were my favorite live bands. It was so much fun going to venue to venue to see who was playing. The city was alive.

And now ? In Seattle… especially a year ago wth is going on in that hellhole that’s called the west coast (states) of the US as wel as New York State and city , Illinois and Michigan Never will talent like this arise again …

When something is pure, it shines through the clouds and crowds, it touches us and then becomes part of us. Oceans is a truly beautiful song

'He look good, and sounding like that, he better stop!' haha... many would agree with you on that. His voice melts my heart too! Studio version is pretty much the same. Recorded in the days before autotune.

Jayy, I'm sooooo glad you liked this - Pearl Jam is amazing, and your reaction was same as mine seeing it for the first time. The band is still together, still puts out albums, and still tours -- and still sound amazing! Also: I maybe, probably, definitely, ABSOLUTELY still my VHS recording with this, Nirvana, REM's MTV Unplugged, both the full one-hour premiere version. Stored somewhere safe.

He really is amazing, isn't he? I can't think of too many other performers who sound better live than they do via studio (or the same). It is really hard not to fall in love with that voice... LOVE your reaction videos!

People's reactions said it all, going crazy over it while Eddie was all chill, that was just like a vocal warm up for him hahaha, what an epic voice, amazing. Good thing he's still around, the last one of the best era of rock music, the Grunge era

So, maybe another PJ song or two in honor of that HUGE milestone???? "Better Man" LIVE at Madison Square Garden.... It's a BEAUTIFUL song (written about/for Eddie Vedder's mother) and the Audience participation is amazing.... it gives you chills!!

You were like a 13 year old girl listening to this. Btw, the studio version basically sounds the same, lol. The most impressive part about this song to me is the switch up between the low notes throughout most of the song to the high ohhh's. It's flawless.
