Apparently, this song is about a child who has learning difficulties but no body has noticed yet so she doesn't have a diagnosis. The mother reads aloud and the child tries to understand. But she can't... The mother thinks it is because she is lazy or just misbehaving or something. And because the child fails to meet her mothers expectations, she feel she is not fit to be called daughter. That's what it means to me anyway. I feel I have a special connection with this song because it reminds me of me and how I felt when I was very young. I was diagnosed with autism when I was 8 years old.

For those of you going on about Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam, I sure hope you're all just joking. This song here is called Superman's Song and this is the Crash Test Dummies singing it. The lead singer of Crash Test Dummies, Brad Roberts wrote the song. Neither Eddie Vedder nor Pearl Jam have any connection at all with this song. So yeah, I really really do hope you all are just screwing around, never know.

Now this has got to be the weirdest crap I've ever experienced on KZread before and NO, I'm not on drugs and wasn't at the time I wrote the other comment either.
