She lies and says she's in love with him
Can't find a better man
She dreams in color, she dreams in red
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man

Another one of my favorite bands, Blackberry Smoke, is the same way. For a lesser-known band, our mighty and dedicated BBS fans sing all the words for their 2-hour show. The same thing happened at Rush concerts. Rush fans are almost a little too vocal and loud. 30k fans singing Tom Sawyer is damn loud...but fun!!

@Poisonous Nut Keith Richards says after 1965 the Stones didn't have to work hard because the audience knew all their songs. The only good thing I've ever read about Axl Rose was his desire to tour before an album dropped because he wanted the crowd to have t listen to the songs.

(Set the scene) 20 years ago, I was 10 years old. My brilliant brother and I used to share a bedroom, most nights he would put Pearl Jam on and here me out for a second, I couldn't stand it, as a 10 year old I didn't understand it. Forward the clock 5 years 2005, I heard this song again play and to this day I appreciate the song and this band and will never turn back. This brings back soo many memories of those times and now how much I love this song. Sorry for the long story.
I collapse in adoration every single time.

Thank you Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam for this wonderful music! RIP Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley...
There's gotta be no greater feeling in the world than when you get a crowd of that size to sing your song back to you in perfect unison. Absolutely beautiful.
I’m a singer. I’ve sang in front on tens of thousands of people with the London symphony orchestra as part of the Southend Boys Choir as a child. I went on to sing in a few bands, and chilled out with Zak De La Roche and Tom Morello backstage after being part of the warm up band. I firmly believe that I have never met a person who is a better singer than myself, which may sound really pretentious, but it’s true. But, I’ve never met Eddie Vedder who is technically the greatest singer of all time IMHO. The range and tone perfection is just breathtaking.

My favorite part of this performance and it shows the absolute caliber of Ed as a musician is how at 01:48 minutes after allowing the crowd to sing the whole song and they go crazy, how his voice just comes over the mic "ooh oh oooh" and absolute SILENCE from the crowd to hear the master at his craft!
I've been to over a hundred concerts by now and when it comes to crowd interaction at a Pearl Jam you can't get any better....
Thank God for you Eddie Vedder, the only surviving 90’s grunge rock God to still draw breath. Eddie Vedder, you are truly loved. Songs just like this one is absolutely one reason I survived the great disfunction that permeated my early life. This song pretty much parallels my situation at home too. Brutal stepfather festered an already infected & damaged kid. Drugs were the best thing that ever happened to me. And at that time they were, you see they became my defense and coping mechanism. It’s just the damndest thing that a person can already have so many marks against them not even out of the womb. Indifference to a child’s pain and neglect to their needs is deconstruction of the soul, slowly chipping away at the conscience, it’s dimming fire never burning brighter than at its conception.
Mr. Vedder and his musical colleagues must sleep each night with the knowledge that they have brought joy to many.

Fuck, that was great. Been listening to these guys for 27 years.
Waitin', watchin' the clock, it's four o'clock, it's got to stop Tell him, take no more, she practices her speech As he opens the door, she rolls over Pretends to sleep as he looks her over She lies and says she's in love with him, can't find a better man She dreams in colour, she dreams in red, can't find a better man Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Oh Talkin' to herself, there's no one else who needs to know She tells herself, oh Memories back when she was bold and strong And waiting for the world to come along Swears she knew it, now she swears he's gone She lies and says she's in love with him, can't find a better man She dreams in colour, she dreams in red, can't find a better man She lies and says she still loves him, can't find a better man She dreams in colour, she dreams in red, can't find a better man Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Yeah She loved him, yeah, she don't want to leave this way She feeds him, yeah, that's why she'll be back again Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Can't find a better man
Eddie sings such amazing songs! No you can't find a better man, or singer. A true legend ❤🎉
Made me cry when eddie played the guitar for the crowd.. a soft touch of love betwen the performer and the audience.. and eddie's smile.. 🥲
The smile on his face at 1:18! Priceless💙

This glorious moment is indeed magical. A little fast but all good. Everyone is grooving and wide open to all positive energy. 🍀👀
Seen it 61 times. EV gives it his all every time.
Did anyone else feel the energy that was generated from this concert??

Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam either make me smile or cry with their songs. They deserve such admiration and respect. Their performances and songs just seem to get better with time. I don't care what anybody says Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam will always be the best in my eyes 😀😥👏👏
eddie sounds choked up when he starts singing again after the long pause....can't imagine the chills it gives him to see so many people singing his lyrics
This is one of the greatest songs of all time

Facts.
just goes to show what happens when u make good music.its eternal and it passes down through the decades and it doesn't fade away unlike the crap we are fed with these days.
05-05-09... 7:30am, 2 blocks from my house... driving down the street, listening to this on the radio, singing at the top of my lungs, happy as can be.... some guy decides to run a stop sign, crashes into me and totals my car. I was ok, physically, but ever since, have not been able to listen to this song without getting majorly bummed out. .... But, I find this, and feeling the energy, the happiness, the absolute beauty of thousands of people... in that moment, all as one... wow! Love it! Makes me smile. That look on Eddie's face... sigh... amazing.

I am at the beginning of Gen X...so PJ was a little "after my generation", but I loved them in my 20s. I've been revisiting them again, I'm 53 now, I just really can't believe how talented they were. I wish I saw them Live at the Garden♥️

That smile to the audience says it all. I can't wait to see them in September at Sea Hear Now, I will sit in front of that main stage overnight if I have to.

Hello beautiful,my heart tells me you’re so beautiful more than the morning sunshine ☀️
I have more than 40 years hearing rock music, and these art piece version is on my top three
This song always makes me think of New Zealand. It was playing on the airplane radio when I went there on a trip in 2000. Such a great song.
