It is packed on Holidays near low tide. They can drink off the boat as long as they don't step on the island. So, everyone stays in the water. Loophole for drinking. 😎👍

@@DavidLorenzoFlorida south beach is the one I miss the most, still have and wear the bathing attire:) quite expensive, I visited most of the beaches, not this particular one ,anyway, I miss it so much !

The drone used was a Phantom 3 Standard. It only had a 2.7k camera and a limited range. I sold it and got the Phantom 3 Pro with the 4k camera. I still have that drone and use for higher altitude footage because it has a great camera but is a very noisy drone. Thanks for watching !

I had been flying for about 5 months before doing this video. So, you can see I did very little editing. I had to learn how to do better editing as well. Thanks for watching.

Good time to fly there..

Interesting, but I didn't learn much. There's only so much coastal footage of boats before I want to know more. For instance, the interior of Peanut -- is that actively being dredged or is the dredging long-finished? Are there plans to plant more trees and palms in its interior to prevent the effects of erosion, for instance?

According the Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation web site it indicates that they are dredging on the Southeast portion of the island. They do not indicate why or how long. Sorry, I cannot answer anything more

No worries. Over the years I've watched them remove the interior hill and leave what appears to be a retention pond with no water. I am not sure what the plans are from here. It is still a great place to spend the day. It has been open for the past couple months after closing because of Covid-19. You were not allowed to set foot on the island during that time. It was a DJI Phantom 3. One battery, 2 miles, and took 7 minutes.

The island initially was to be used by a peanut shipping company back in 1946.

Not exactly. The island was created in 1918. Its name comes from a peanut oil production plant which its primary function was to serve as a shipping terminal.

In my early days I liked doing long uninterrupted flights with smooth flying and no glitches. If I couldn't do it the first time I'd fly it again and again until I had a good video. Good thing I got a little smarter and decided to go deeper into editing. Thanks for watching !
