Peanut butter was always expensive in my country, so we never bought it. Since I never even saw it, I actually thought that it's equal to Nutella, and peanut butter is just how it's called in America. I think I was eather 19 or 20 years old when I first tasted real peanut butter. My first thought was: Hmmm, this is really a... buttery peanut mixture. I fully got it then, why is it called peanut butter. Ever since then, mum started to buy it, and I officially fell in love with it. Especially with jam. I also understand now why is the jelly-peanut butter sandwich is so popular in America. 😋

@@AurforeRhodontis No, they don’t use hydrogenated palm oil. read the label, it will say if it has hydrogenated oil. Palm oil by nature is about 50% saturated, so it is really common in shelf stable products. Here in America, if it is under .5g of trans fat per serving, it is technically allowed. Manufacturers get around the “ban” by mixing hydrogenated oil with regular oil. It’s sus, but you can see it pretty clearly in the ingredeints
It's cheap and it keeps you alive.

There is actually no record of who created peanut butter. Every where you look, there will be different dates, different people. Even the Aztecs had a way of making it themselves, using two rocks to smash peanuts into paste. The best we have is when is arrived in different parts of the world. I love it no matter where it's from

John Harvey Kellogg filed a patent for peanut butter in 1895. George Washington Carver popularized the growing of peanuts with farmers by devising different ways to use them.

Even though I'm allergic to just peanut butter, this is interesting.

I have that problem but, it's not my teeth. I have TMJ, temporomandibular joint disorder. Look it up and you'll see just how excruciating this is. Lot of times it feels like somebody shot me in the face. But most of the time it feels like somebody's shoving a 9 inch nail through my eardrum, into the hinge of my jaw prying it apart, that is very very painful alone in itself. 🙊

@3:42 You'll notice the dispenser dribbled some peanut butter onto the side of the jar(more so in the old dispensers in section 1 and 2 of the plant) so my job as Outer Jar Quality Controller is to lick the side of the jar rims that are contaminated with peanut butter on the outside of the jar rim before the lid goes on. So if you see a lil saliva on the inside the lid rim after you open a jar..It's mine.

Peanuts in a food processor at your house makes the best peanut butter, I’ve been doing it for years.
It's so easy to make your own. I add honey and a little coconut oil if needed. Delicious, healthy and cheap
I did not see mid process of the peanuts being turned into butter I am *mad*

In North Africa they make the most delicious peanut soup. Recipe: Sautee a finely chopped onion. Add vegetable or chicken or beef stock and water. Throw in roasted peanut paste and mix well. If you have a hand blender, then you can use solid roasted peanuts which you can blend in the pot. Add a little ground ginger and nutmeg, salt and pepper. Turn off heat and stir in milk or cream. An entire meal in just one soup.
Wow its incredible
I thought they just smashed peanuts and butter together.

When the peanut butter is deposited into the jars, the machine spills some on the outside of each jar. Is there a way to fix that?
