The fact that every reaction I’ve watched nobody really paid attention to Isiah and his glow up and bro was there since season 1 but they definitely paid attention 😂💯 and I’m jackin him and ada got a lil thing for each other 😂 also for ppl who might not know Jeremiah the Jamaican priest/ preacher is his father.

I think that the whole sapphire curse thing can seem kind of simple and meh writing way to kill the ruby. But then I thought about it some more, why did tommy get the saphire in the first place? Gang type sins, stealing it from Russians, why did grace die? Because of tommys sins, the things he did that led up to his wife taking a bullet that was meant for him. When that happened, it coulve been a catalyst for self reflection and change for tommy, maybe he quits all the dangerous stuff, maybe he finds god? But no, he uses the sapphire as a scape goat to get that weight of his own sins off of his shoulders and doesnt change his ways. And in the end it came back to bite him and teach him that same lesson it was trying to teach him with grace. Also when lizzie said that ruby died at "5:17:, that was alluding to "Corinthian's 5:17" which says "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new". And if that is not a glaring sign that shelby needs to change his ways and accept that he is not a god but a man who needs gods salvation, i dont know what is. I think that the scene where tommy said to the abusive nuns that "I am is much closer than god", reveled alot about who he is and his views on salvation and humility, I havnt finished the series yet, but I dont think tommy will find that salvation. I think that the bible verse can also apply to the fact that "micheal is the new creature" and the "tommy is the old thing that has passed away".
