What I loved is when Tommy said "all I am to the people close to me, is money" and Arthur responds with "is that what you are?" then the scene progresses and at the end when they hug, Arthur says "I'm clean, thanks to you." That was him subtly responding to Tommy thinking that all he means to people is his money, saying "you're not. You saved me. I love you. You're my brother." That's what made me cry

It was the German soldier in the trenches. Ruby drew pictures of him that Tommy looked at when he got home . The pictures were on the table . She had drawn a man with big green eyes and his face covered in black soot . That was the man Tommy was fighting in when he got the seizure in his office

@@supernova7848 You are missing the point, tho. Yes, to Tom that's the Soldier. But to Ruby, that was the Doctor, who had green eyes and always wore grey suits... They wanted to get Tom to an emotional breakdown - so they played on his emotions. It's quite obvious they simply learned about Tom's "phobia" and used it. The pictures look like that, simply because she's a child. She saw a bad man, with Green Eyes and in a Grey Suit - those were the only pieces that mattered.

The shot of Jeremiah with the mask on shooting the Tommy gun has to be top 5 shots of the entire show. So badass.

The shootout with Arthur at the end was so fucking amazing. One of the best action sequences in the show

Tommy honoured the hour of Armistice - the 11th hour. Which is why he spoke of finding peace. I think he tasked Duke to look after the family. I’m surprised about Finn. I assumed the Peaky Blinders managed to get Billy to confess. In which case Finn should have shot Billy out of revenge - Polly was like a mother to him. The Arthur scene on the streets of Small Heath was epic and peak Peaky. RIP IRA Captain Dipshit - not. I held out hope that Micheal might switch sides - but no. I personally thought he rocked the post Peaky style game. Alfie Alfie Alfie - only you could sympathetically ask a so called dying Tommy if he had the clap! Poor Charles - the look he gave towards Tommy and Duke during the last feast was ominous. Let’s see what the film throws up. Finally. Helen McCrory. You were missed. However, Polly permeated the season. Her presence felt throughout. Testament to an actor of unrivalled ability.

Excellent review. Especially Charles giving that look at Tommy whispering to Duke. I get jealousy vibes from that look. Feels like Charles would be more mentally damaged than Duke. And imo, conflicts are going to arise between them in the future.

Yeah it's sad Finn turned out to be such a disappointment. shooting at Isaiah for freaking Billy, really bro? yeah there's no hope for him. Maybe if Pol was alive they would've given him a second chance as she was the heart of the family. RIP Helen McCrory

They cgi the house, it was not demolished guys! the house really exists! It’s a couple miles away from my house and you can visit it ;) if you ever come to Liverpool there’s a lot of places near the city where they filmed the show :)

This is how you make a finale. Can’t wait for this movie. I didn’t know how I felt about Duke at first but I really like him now. Even though he deserved it, I can’t believe Michael is gone!! I wanted to see him in the movie. I’m gonna miss the Peaky Blinders.

Mosley did NOT kill Ruby. You can't just give someone TB unless you have it yourself. She just got sick and died because it happened back then, and Mosley decided to use it to manipulate Tommy into getting himself killed

Entered season 1 on a black horse.... left on a white horse. Leaving his old life and ways behind, for the new.

Arthur’s scene was so badass they tried to kill him twice and he kills his enemies

In all honesty, it’s thanks to Tommy finding out these things that prevent Arthur and make him have the upper hand, nonetheless Arthur is a badass killing machine

One of the best episodes of PB for me. Maybe even top five best episodes of tv ever.

I think every last episode of every season is really good. But this one was really good. First time i cried in many years , when Arthur gets emotional when he realises both his brothers were gone .

Same, I just watched all six seasons this month and can’t believe I didn’t watch it sooner. Definitely one of the best shows I’ve ever watched. I can’t wait for the movie.

I think this is the best finale I could have hoped for. Honestly I'm glad it ended with no violence because that's what Tommy has been trying to achieve this whole time. He's developed as a person and has finally been able to stop himself from killing.

What an amazing finale to the greatest show ever. Every seasons last episode is beyond amazing. Still got unanswered questions. I hope the movie finishes it off perfectly

This show is incredible. To have Tommy basically kill himself in last season's finale and having him attending what is essentially his own funeral in this episode is just master-class writing

I WAS BALLING my eyes outtttt when it showed him at the toast, I had no idea it would’ve been this twist…and balled my eyes out at the end credits😭

He blew up the house for Lizzie because she said in the previous episode that she hates that house now and she wish she could blow it up.

I just saw this episode today, and the coolest mind-blowing twist I have seen for a long time!

Alfie said "I had a dream about you Tommy, you were on a black horse, you said 'goodbye' and then, bang" that dream Alfie had was ONE of the paths Tommy could have taken, and the path he nearly took. The black horse represents the dark parts of his life, his demons, his inner sufferings, and his depression. It's like a curse. However, Tommy chooses to ride away on the white horse, he chooses life.

Ruby was sick before she got TB. Then when Mosely found out about Ruby dying from TB, that's when he set into motion his buddy.

Lizzie will probably try to keep Charlie away from that life which is what Tommy would want. I believe Tommy probably told Duke to rise and take over one day. Now Tommy had the surprise on his side.

He said it true, the only person that can kill Tommy Shelby is himself. Dude defeated the enemies even tho they were crazier than him, created a legacy of power and fame and HE single-handedly destroyed his own legacy by himself, that explosion of his house explains everything and gave no chance to the enemies to hav a piece of his legacy of fame and power (even if his disease actually existed). Hats off to the King, Tommy Shelby 😎😎❤️❤️🗿🗿

I think Suraj was sort of missing the point of the doctor story. Oswald infecting Ruby would make no sense because clearly the plan was to fake Tommy's illness. And they probably only came up with it after ruby got ill. Would oswald really meet with a tuberculosis ridden tommy and lizzie in episode 2? I feel like their plan was to break tommy mentally. Using the death kf his daughter just became an easy way to do that.

That ending completely had me mouth wide open for ten minutes

The scene when Tommy puts a gun to his head then hears his daughter would have been such a beautiful way to depict him dying. Didn't hear or feel the shot, just crossed over seamlessly. I know that's not what played out, but it could easily have been interpreted that way up until the moment he realizes he's not dead.

As someone who lives in Birmingham next to small heath, I can confirm if you go into small heath vengeance is not for the lord…

As a Brit quite surprised you all talk through watching one of our dramas which was historic ! But I recommend you watch another British drama Killing Eve 😊 🇬🇧

I was disappointed with Finn, but I think he was always set up to not be a part of the Dark side of the Shelby family life. Or at the very least not fit in it. The rest of his brothers didn't really let him do many hard jobs because it was so young. In fact, most of the hard stuff went to Isiah or Isiah was always the one who pushed Finn to do them. Even when Finn did them, he didn't really like the hard side of the job. To be fair, he wasn't exposed to it as his brothers were even though he was their full brother. Even Michael and now Duke who came into the family very late in life got into the hard stuff and made a name for themselves unlike Finn even though he is a n original Shelby Brother. I think Tommy and Arthur knew that Finn was really close to Billy and that he told him about what went down in the previous season which resulted in their plans for Mosley failing. This is why they didn't tell him about their plans for Billy. Because Finn was too close to him. But it was also Finn's choice in the end. While I can understand wanting to shoot Duke (he hardly knows him), I didn't like that he pointed the gun at Isiah too. Isiah who has been with him since the beginning. Even though Finn didn't try to shoot him, he still pointed the gun at him first. The fact he chose Billy over Isiah in that moment left me feeling some kind of way. I wonder what's in store for Finn in the future.

I doubt Finn is a match for Dukes intellect. Not even close pretty sure. I mean like Billy controlled him really easily

i hate when they keep giving excuses to like & support arthur & alfie when the truth is both of them were much more terrible than tommy. the only difference is tommy is smarter so that his moves is bigger with bigger consequences to his enemies.

Not sure if was clear in the show but house was demolished to make way for affordable/council housing as per Tommy's Housing Act he got passed in Parliament, along with a bunch of land that belonged to Mosley's supporters who were in debt.

No they didn't blow the building up, its pretty much an attraction and I'm fairly sure people live there. They fired out debris and the building collapse was CG. I've been to the house, its very weird to be standing in those rooms.
