This is my favorite Mega line up Gar was a beast on drums... I bought Peace sells back when it first released on album.. Still listening to it in 2024..

So glad you’re reacting to the Peace Sells album! Unbelievable that kids in the 80’s wrote so many great thrash albums that stand the test of time and honestly just get better and better with time. So many great bands back then.🤘🏻👍🏻

The groove comes from Gar Samuelson who was a Jazz Fusion drummer before joining Megadeth.

Love watching someone who appreciates the music listen to an album for the first time. I first listened to this album on cassette in my car. I never bought vinyl because my parent's would have sh*t back then if they had heard it. Always cassettes. 'Peace Sells But Whose Buying' is my favorite Megadeth album. It's not as technically clean as 'RiP', but Dave's vocals and the rawness of the recording just push it beyond 'RiP'. I also love 'Killing is My Business...'. If the production quality of 'Killing...' had been as good as 'Peace...' there would be more fans of the first album. People complain about the sound of the first album. I didn't care back in the day. You just cranked the volume louder until people outside your car looked at you like you are crazy. 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Psyched that this finally got posted!! Love this album, love this lineup. Gar is my favorite Megadeth drummer. His jazz fusion background and funky, unpredictable grooves set the standard for the band. So glad to see your reaction. On to part 2!

Definitely have the lyrics handy when doing Megadeth songs. They are complex but musically and lyrically.
