Got this in a couple days ago and wow! What a fantastic Ambroxan, citrusy blast that projected and sillaged almost as much as DSE! Was getting HUGE whiffs well into the 10 hour mark. Great scent profile! Plan on wearing this a lot this spring and summer

This fragrance gives me compliments every time I wear it. I tried sedley a few times and it's similar but it has it's own personality. Sedley is more minty and bright in the opening, like a sprite freshness feeling. I can't remember the drydown but I know was sexy and could feel the quality, very well rounded. On the other hand, the opening of legacy I feel a strong lemon peel and a little mint behind with very clear ambroxan, metalic smell. In the notes pineapple is listed which I think is a bitter pineapple because I don't feel nothing sweet in the fragrance. After 30 minutes I still feel the lemon but more subtle, I get more the mint but nothing super crazy, some black pepper something kinda green which could be the oak moss or vetiver. I don't know a lot so I could be missing something but that's my feeling. It's 100% worth it, it lasts me for 5 hours working outdoors in a 80°+ temperature, great projection and sillage. For 30 bucks this is a no brainer and blind buy for sure.

@@809luisc yeah I have it, it's a bit sweeter than the original, but it is really really good. For me as a student with little money it didn't make sense buying the original, specially when the clone is that good. So I only have the original in a test bottle

Just received my lattafa maahir legacy today, not smelled Sedley before so complete blind buy.I get a lot of the lime and mint in the opening, the dry down reminds me of the new ADG parfum.

Bought a bottle of this cause I love Sedley. Got it in the mail, sprayed it, loved it, bought a second bottle the next day! Its great, especially for the price!

I can see the sedley comparison in the dry down. Almost spot on! If you’re reading the comments and trying to figure out if you should buy it or not… just buy it. It’s 30$ and it’s a nice scent for the price..

I own the Mahir Black and it smells a lot like Orto Parisi Terroni, very smoky almost ash tray smell in the first few minutes but it gets much better when it dries down. Definitely worth checking out

I love this one the opening is like like peel or zest and then it becomes incredibly fresh and smooth and slightly sweet. My wife absolutely loves it as well. Swiss arabian walaa is fantastic as well as is lattafa 24k white gold. The 3 kinda go together. Same fresh lovely vibe.

I got a bottle when it first came out. Super weak, I couldn't smell it at all after 10 min. used 24 spreys the first day and still couldn't smell it after a few min.

I have both sedley and maahir legacy and imo I wouldn’t call this a clone. They are similar but NOT close to sedley. Legacy is more zesty and citrusy. The dry down will really tell them apart. To me it’s like sedley vibe combined with chanel egoiste platinum. Legacy is still a good fragrance on its own.

I have it, and the opening is amazing. Does not last yet though. Hoping it improves with maturation, but at this point (batch code shows it's really new, only a couple months old) I can barely smell it after 5 hours. I'll be trying it this weekend by layering it with some iso-e super, see if that improves the longevity.

Still not beast mode, but I carry a decant around to re-apply after a few hours... I don't like having to do that, but it is a really nice scent; don't want to just ignore it, lol.

@@C.frmMiaI love both just the same for different occasions. Sedley shines in scenarios that arent appropriate to wear layton and vice versa. Active days (beach, pool, bar hopping, day parties) Sedley is the go to. Clubbing, dates, special occasions, I gravitate to layton forsure. Warm seasons = Sedley. Colder seasons = Layton

I think this smell more like Platinum Egoiste 🤔 i never smelled Sedley before so i can't speak on that....

I got mine about a month and a half ago. It smells great. Pretty close to sedley, except it’s a bit mintier and spicier while sedley is more sparkling and fresh. It doesn’t have that nice drydown change that sedley has, Maahir is more linear. Sedley def smells much more quality and natural but the price difference is crazy I think it’s well worth the buy! I use my clones to keep my real stuff for better occasions, I don’t use them to replace the real deal unless it is that damn good like aka Asad, amber oud Ruby or bleu exclusif

@@jaybowie6529 nah I don’t get that and I know about 3 other people who got it and they all love it as well. Maybe it’s their skin chemistry but this frag doesn’t seem reactive imo. It smells basically identical on my skin and on paper/clothes

I bought this bottle and yes I will agree with the smell being fantastic The problem with this is the longevity is really bad I'm talking about an hour to an hour and a half max on clothing before it becomes unnoticeable and I'm not talking about me trying to smell it on myself with a potential of going nose blind. Ask other people in my family that I saw if they could smell it and they were not able to and if they did it's very minor

The dry down is very similar to Sedley almost spot on and in the air but on skin up close in the first hour or so it smells very lemon and citrus forward.

Good summer fragrance but performance is average. Sillage 1h, longevity max 5 - 6h. If You're fragrance collector buy it couse it's cheap if not, wait for better clone.

It's alright. It's very tame actually , I spray about 16 times on skin and it lasts like 5 hours. I hate the opening personally as it comes too close to lemon floor cleaner but it drys down after about 10 minutes into a very fresh and pleasant smell. It doesn't project like a beast though, especially after the first hour.

Love this fragrance so far. Been wearing it the past 2 days and it frickin rocks. So close to sedley, especially after it dries down. Sedleys opening is a bit more nuanced and "expensive" smelling, but to me the difference is minor and 20 minutes after spraying all bets are off. Sedley has a stronger "sprite" feel in the opening that the lataffa is missing, other than that they're almost indistinguishable

I feel the same about Dior HC and Jimmy Choo Man Ice… sprayed them side by side yesterday, right next to each other the Dior is definitely more “refined” so to speak, but honestly out in the real world no normal person is gonna tell the difference, grab the Choo!

I did not like it. I gave it away. It’s not very fresh. Mint wears off in 10 min then dries down to soapy sweet powder didn’t like it at all

To my nose it's close enough. Like Dallas said easily 90%. For the price point it's a no brainer. After sampling sedley and not being blown away (it also didn't last long on me) I decided not to buy a bottle at that price point so for me this is a great alternative. There's some difference but not enough to justify the PDM price tag. Something i've noticed a lot of the middle eastern frags have a very pronounced note i've noticed it in this one and latafa fakar black. It's not unpleasant but i just notice it more in a lot of the latafas or maybe the two have a similar DNA.

Like a can of Sprite on a hot summer day. Cool, refreshing, and bubbly citrus. Obey your thirst.

PDM Sedley has nothing to worry about. This dupe can’t compete with PDM quality. I own both and the Lattafa clone has an artificial and synthetic scent vs. the PDM natural and refreshing profile. Not unhappy with the Lattafa purchase but it just doesn’t hold a candle to PDM.

In the air they smell the same , and legacy quality is super good for the price not like the bad quality of fo example cdnim… I have both sedley smell so clean and high quality but in the air no one will notice the difference, and sedley cost 10 time more than legacy , legacy here in Morocco cost 18$

love the videos, but I don’t like these “killer” titles. These clones are nice and they serve a purpose, but to say they “Kill” the original is too much. The originals will always be sought after

Bcuz of name not necessarily quality. If you go somewhere and you smell good nobody gonna really care if you paid $500 for it or 50 for it at the end of the night. I dont know, its a Dupe, the Company makes a lot of Dupes. Produced in the UAE, i would not purchase it because of Ethical reasons. And i will not judge people who buy it. The perfume(Sedley) made a good job that needs to be Honored, Dupes breaking all the hard work by coping the sentence and floating the Market. A bit like with Creed, the amount of Dupes who were on the Market, i dont feel the Creed sentence anymore, its not as special as it was.
