We understand that our winches are priced higher than conventional winches found on vehicles. However, they offer a lot of advantages and allow you to work in all conditions.

Is the sound buzzing away from the winch or a chain saw nearby. Music made it had to tell

No. The principle of a capstan winch requires the user to pull on the rope to pull a load. As the rope is not wound onto a drum, allowing unlimited rope length, they cannot be used with a remote control. The question is whether the idea of unlimited rope length is enough of an advantage in your case to dispense with a remote control.

What's the battery run time when pulling? And how many feet of pull per battery from fully charged to a dead battery? Thanks

2,5 Amps = 20 to 30 minutes depending on load. 5 Amps = 30 to 45 minutes depending on load. At an average speed of 30'/minute, it gives between 600' to 1350' of pull.
