Whoa, Was there fluid on the track ? The attitude of the cars in that particular spot, glad everyone is ok , things went bad very quick.

I’ve done that in karting in the rain. Guy in front spins and it makes you get out of shape as you’re on the limit but simultaneously trying to avoid a collision. One of those things unfortunately. Good that nobody hit you coming through afterwards at least. Still, it looked expensive.

That turn is the most difficult and fast on the track, glad everyone's ok, wild, I don't blame you SM is better ,mixed makes it more difficult

That’s what it looked like to me. Don’t know what happened to the first car but the OP lifted when he saw the car in front start to spin. Then it dominoed to the car behind him too.

Cripes Joe! Glad you’re ok, the blue car’s aerial was crazy. Hadn’t checked your feed in a while, glad I did. Is there no SPB only racing or is it only mixed?

That’s a really tough turn. You’re carrying a lot of speed. I lost it in the same turn in the rain. I was lucky enough not to hit anything.

Love this track but I think the nascar layout is more fun. Nascar turn 4 coming down the hill and throwing the right side over the curb and swinging way out by the wall is epic.

is it the braking that eases the rear or is it lift-off oversteer?

I know this is old but for reference, I had 102 starts in PCA SPB since 2012 with only one minor incident where another car dented my fender and knocked my toe out so it hasn't always been that crashy. At least here on the east coast. It does seem like it's gotten worse in the past couple of years though.

No, car in front of red entered slower than expected. Red entered full tilt and had to lift, which made him go sideways. I had to do the same, and so the did the guy behind me. Domino effect…

@Austin Varco I don’t like mixed class racing. The fast slow cars clash with slow fast cars and is a recipe for disaster. I stopped doing mixed class with my SM for the same reason.

Silver driver had to right to any lane, including allowing room for red car. Red car didnt use curbing prior to next apex and perhaps forced a tighter turn than normal there as well. SPBs become unbalanced fairly easily and guessing brake pitched car to nose and loosened rear end.
