I have never used the services of the RFDS but I know they are there if I do. Well done RFDS and thank you for being there for ALL of AUSTRALIA.

25 years ago, RFDS saved my life by landing on a tiny island after 2 days of trying to land in horrible weather. I wasn't good and wouldn't last another 10-12 hours. They put it down somehow, got me on board and took off again within minutes. I was later told that they had a severe wing strike on landing. They shouldn't have got me. They did. Thank these people everyday.
