Stratford Police Station, East London revisited. When you go back it's difficult to not see progress, but unfortunately this is the case here. Funny but Not Funny.

Aaah I've been dying to see an auditor walk away when they say "that's fine" when you say you're just filming! It happens all the time.... When they say "that's fine sir, you're allowed to film", that should be IT....DONE....end of interaction. Nice one Yardley. You handled them beautifully 👍

I wonder how many break ins they get at police stations ?. Too many spare PCs at that station. They come to see Yardley as they get bored inside with no one to talk with. Yardley is providing them with a Mental health service and to keep them occupied. Well done Yardley, you got started early Today

@@badattitude9127 I know 2 people that have robbed a police station. Both over 20 years back. One stole a plant from the windowsill of an open window. The other one raided the car compound and stole gear and sterios out of the motors in the car park. There was another kid who spray painted the main desk entrance too. At the time the station was 24/7. That was all the same station. I don't know how often it would be but people do try their luck.

Although it's another lifetime and many miles away now, in my home area of Speke in South Liverpool the old station on the Parade had an attempt (maybe one in ten successful) or vandalism (usually on the cars) basically every month. Toxteth, Halewood, Garston, Hutton, and a few other were targets too. But the last time that a police station was targeted by terrorists was in Northern Ireland in the middle 80s and I believe that it was the CID office. So forty ish years ago. If a police station is vulnerable like Plod here claims, while forcing an opinion, then they should make it secure. Additionally I believe that section 13 of the Code of Conduct that accompanies the Terrorism Act tells Plod that they can't take public photography as grounds for suspicion. I am trying to get my hands on a physical copy to confirm that.

More auditors need to do this. Then talking over him and not listening to his advice, all the while explaining the law to him - which he clearly didn't know...then finally sorting the cop out who started filming you without saying. Masterclass act.

Good point, but the problem is that they know they are suppose to tell a member of the public at the earliest opportunity that they are recording they simply do not do it and it is in their policy. You could say until they inform you the recording has been covert and they cannot rely upon it in court.

  • @ianhill4585

Hi Yardley, when these two come out they seem to be trying a bit harder but while the first one introduced himself well enough, but the second one just stood there like a dummy!, then after the first round of exchange that settled the issue of your legal activity and presence he starts chasing you around for an argument. Every attempt you make to get rid of them is rejected!, you tell them that you do not want to engage in conversation with them but they want to cause trouble. The next thing we get some vague reference to covert surveillance, this gets them further into the hole they are digging, every twist and turn he gets more tangled in his own delusions. The rubbish he comes out with the possibility that you might film one of them entering their pin code which could work if you or your camera were hidden but not when you are out there in the open was just pathetic. This has to be one of the most comprehensive exposures and demolitions of stupidity any of you have done. Cheers, Richard.

great work Yardley Ski - always polite, calm and informative. This audit was well paced, very intense and as usual YS cut no slack and never backed down. The one thing Yardley Ski was guilty of was eating the PC's alive 😆. You can detect a warm tone in YS's voice but the police here clearly couldn't - which is a bit concerning. I am not convinced they were being genuine in offering a drink, and if they were it would have been a very brave act to have consumed it! They were left eating humble pie and this was an absolute 'win' for Yardley, and the cause. The gesture (YS saying "have a nice day") at 18:30 showing Yardley cementing his place as a fair human being. Pure excellence. 10/10. 😎👍

When plods are asked to identify as they so often do by lowering their shoulder towards you whilst pointing at their collar number. This action reminds me of a motion that is very similar to bowing or tipping your hat, which I have phrased, "Shoulder Saluting the Auditor." In the future, would this new phrase be used by auditors, the PINACI movement, and photographers to take the piss out of plods?

that made me laugh, that officer was going through the list of "reasons" seemingly unaware that you were not falling for it and that he was sounding ridiculous. May favorite was " That is a swear word" hoping that he finally got you on something.😆

Can some one tell us why all the police stations are closing down, and the public must use 101. Also why are the police not following their own rules. Another great 💯% Audit Y S. Wish other Auditors would all carry a copy of the NPCC memo sent to all stations.

PC 1194 can`t handle the verbal skills of Yardley ski and so puzzled why he is not bowing down to group uniform pressure and intimidation by misuse of legislation. Fascinating and funny at the same time but most importantly shows when you know what you talking about you do not need to put with crap. A much deserved FOXTROT OSCAR for PC annoying 1194.

Had to laugh at the muppet trying to get the van out through the gate and receiving guidance from his fellow muppet. Thought there would be a reasonable standard of driving ability as a minimum requirement before they let you drive a Police Van. If they can't get the van through the gate of the station then they should not be allowed to drive on the public streets. Standard of entry to get into Police, judging by the muppets who came out to talk and tge lack of driving skills, must be lower than a limbo dancers bar.
