Phil´s expressions and faces are out of this world! I can´t not stop whatching his show... And it´s all real and authentic. I´d never be presented to the world this way he does... It´s truly a privilege. Love you, Phil!!!

I disagree with the fact that L'ami Louis has the best chicken in Paris. They may have great fois gras, but the chicken is sinewy and the owner who took over when both Louis and my friend Thierry who used to head Cointreau, both passed away. It is so overpriced and Louis is rude....so rude in fact that one of the concierge's in a very famous 5 star hotel told me that in the winter...Louis takes women's coats...some fur and throws them up on the ceiling shelves. I was privy to eat there when the original Louis was alive, and it was sooooo much better. Read Vanity Fair's article about L'Ami Louis. I put it in my book "Everybody Eats There" because yes, those not in the know, famous movie stars etc seem to all want to go there. As far as I am concerned, there are so many better chickens in Paris and so much better food in other restaurants. He did cover some of them, Arpege, L'Ami Jean, Le Comptoir. I would add, Bistro Paul Bert as my number one pick. I went to a Sunday lunch party at Paul Bert to celebrate his book about les nouveaus Bistros. Every chef/owner of les nouveau bistros attended and signed my book. The food and wine kept coming, and coming and coming. i brought Augustin Passard, the son of Alain Passard, who is total gourmand and he approved of everything!
