This game came out so long ago that they remade the Sinnoh games. Looking at this gameplay makes me feel like PBR was ahead of it’s time. It still feels like this game has all the qualities one can hope for in a future game.

On your second Sashay Battle you were very smart using taunt... I 've already beaten this game and I used a different strategy... My Clefable had magic guard and follow me... so every single time she used a status inflicitng move she would riderect has my Garchomp would stack up swords dances... It got dangerous cause her Milotic was using a lot of Icy winds

​@@cinnamonsun7099when you use taunt, the other pokemon can't do any moves that don't deal direct damage(moves that boost a stat, moves that inflict a status effect, perish song, etc) so the spiritomb probably had a full stall set

Proof that better animations can be made, and that GameFreak is just being lazy

I enjoyed watching this video it was a real blast from the past. Your team was cool and equipped to beat all of their strats without having to stack anything too hard. Great video :DDDD

As a kid, never owning any of the mainline Pokémon games on the DS, I was always left to just using rental Pokémon- AND HOLY CRAP WAS IT INFURIATING but nonetheless I did actually have a lot of fun too

Tips for every Masters Battle Final. Set 1 Final: Feint and Shadow Force are useful since all the opponents Pokémon learn and use Protect often. Especially Aipom. Set 2 Final: Taunt shuts down Spiritomb, Gengar, Weavile, and Mismagius. Leppa Berries are useful here too. Set 3 Final: Try to use Fake Out on their Ambipom before they do. Then try to take out Drapion before Ambipom can pass a critical-hit boost to it via Fling. If Medicham comes in, Try to avoid hitting it when Medicham uses Endure. Reversal + a Salac Berry boost is very threatening (unless you use a move that goes first, AKA Priority Moves). Set 4 Final: Put in a good strategy for this fight! Dialga, Palkia, or Cresselia are summoned FIRST and Uxie, Mesprit, or Azelf is summoned LAST. Set 5 Final: Take out Raikou, Entei, and Suicune before fighting the weaker Pokémon. Set 6 Final: Nearly the same strategy as in Set 2 except the opponent has more attacking moves(moves that deal damage). Try to stall(defeat them with status moves) them out. Set 7 Final: The opponents uses a EXPLOSION based team. Ghost-Type Pokémon work really well here. Set 8 Final(Rain Team): Use Fake Out on Kyogre and try to Activate Sunny Weather via Sunny Day or Drought(Groudon's signature ability back in Gen 4). Fast(high speed Pokémon) counters(To the opponents team) are amazing here. Take out Manaphy and Kyogre immediately. Set 8 Final(Sun Team): Use Rain Dance or Send out Kyogre after Groudon's Drought activates. Take out Ho-Oh and/or Cherrim immediately. Set 8 Rental Team: Using a Hail or Sandstorm team can really increase your chance of winning. Lead with Hippowdon or Abomasnow.

Sandstorm also works a treat in the final battle as well. Mostly because the computer seems to get pissy when it can't have it's weather up, and tries everything to get it back. Keep your weather-setter protected and the match is a lot less difficult.

The animations for this game are just good and is sad that we are in 2024 and the animations of the pokemons simply are not this good again, you can even see that pokemon from 1st and 2nd generation are using the animations of Stadium 1 & 2 and that's fine cause those animations are amazing, at that time I thought " Is a good idea to recycle the animations and just add new for new pokemon and certain moves, makes sense", but no, no even that and we have static mons with weird effect doing things.

How did u get to the bosses?

They need to make Pokemon Battle Revolution DX so they can add Unova pokemon and Kalos Pokemon and Alola Pokemon and Galar Pokemon and Hisui Pokemon and Paldea Pokemon to Pokemon Battle Revolution DX
