    Guarantee EJ isn’t a fan of this format. Dominated matchplay, which normally would mean he’s the #1 seed in stepladder finals yet again for a fourth major this year-instead eliminated in Top 8, despite the matchplay performance.

  • @matrixphijr

    @matrixphijr

    Well they bowl how many games in match play? If you’re #1 through all of them you should be able to handle winning 2 of 3 against anybody. Stepladder’s such a lazy format, I’m glad to see them have to actually win instead of just get lucky for 1 game (normally it’s because the guy who’s climbed the whole stepladder gets tired and has a bad game that they win rather than they actually have to go out and beat somebody in a competitive match).

    I honestly think that they should’ve done the same format as last year. Because this looks like a playoffs tournament. Don’t read this if you haven’t seen it yet EJ was robbed in the 10th frame of the first game. Even though he didn’t throw the best shot, with all that power he creates, it really doesn’t make sense to leave a 7-10, it would make more sense if it was a 10 pin or a 7 pin, not both of them

  • @chrisruss7863

    7-10s happen to everyone, they just happen to power players less frequently. And in my opinion the only bad break in bowling is the solid 8. A ball hitting pocket perfectly doesn't leave a 7, 10, or 7-10. It happens, I don't think thats getting robbed
