I didn’t know Jimmy Capps until I came across Larry’s Diner on KZread. I then started noticing how many video’s he was playing in, and how many country singers he played along side. What a wonderful musician and gentleman he was. I particularly appreciated one of his red electric guitars, with a little American flag on it. My favorite was watching Randy Owens, Lady down on love”. I remember the joy and passion on Michelle’s face during that performance. From that moment, I was a fan. RIP Mr Jimmy Caps.

Condolences to Michele and the Capps family. Love Jim. Personally met him on Larry's Country Diner show with Charlie McCall and saw him at the Opry! Wonderful to see the Malpass brothers honor Jimmy. RIP Jimmy. I will always remember you especially when I hear the gambler start. Your guitar lick is awesome!

I got a copy of Jimmy's book (signed) and read it from cover to cover in just two days. He was such a talented man and such a major part of "Larry's Country Diner". My heart goes out to Michelle and Jimmy's family. It's just not the same without Jimmy.

There will never be another guitar player like Jimmy Capp. Jimmy Capp was the best guitar player just as Charlie Daniels was an always will be the greatest fiddler player. We have truly lost two of the greatest music legends of all time. Rip Jimmy Capp and Charlie Daniels 🙏

i am in tears.... I just found this beautiful place and it's like a big ole comfy couch you can fall right into. I love that man Jimmy. I'm a guitarist and I really didn't know much about him but I admired his playing. Seeing this video come up in my recommended list, I clicked thinking it was just a beautiful way to honor him for what he has done for the diner, then to find out he had passed away saddens me. God bless his family and friends and of course sweet Michelle. Praying God's peace over you guys today.

Love the show, loved Jimmy and love Michele Capps!! We are from Nashville and got to see Jimmy and Michele at the Opry many times. Never have been able to watch a taping of the show live although we have tried many times. We were hopeful the "real diner" would open, but that didn't happen. We were at the show when Jimmy was inducted to the Musicians Hall of fame at the Municipal Auditorium guessing 5 years ago. Also were at the Opryhouse the night Jimmy was indcted in the North Carolina musicians hall of fame. He was taken by surprise and humbled. We ARE fans of "the man, the myth the legend" Mr Jimmy Capps.. RIP sir. What a life well lived!! Loving you Michele. Sending virtual hugs to you and the family !

The late Jimmy Capps was it true icon to country music he played on a lot of major records with a lot of major Stars water talent is going to be well missed he was like a story book to country music rip Jimmy

We were very fortunate to see Jimmy Capps at the Grand O l Opry on our road trip of the Deep South last year.... Great guitar 🎸 player and coincidentally it was his 80th birthday....... Our condolences to Michele and his family from here in the UK. Also first listen of the Malpass Brothers who sound great...👍

I worked as a studio musician (drmmer) in Nashville and saw a lot of tribute acts like Ronnie Prophet and The Country Kojak on Print'ers Alley in 1977. Like Branson, tribute acts will never end, even with ONE member of the orginal band. Hey, everyone is entitled to make money.
