I don't trust him. Besides, I like the barrels. Thirty years later, I get a postcard. Zoard has a son and he is a bodyboarder. This is where the story gets interesting. I tell Zoard to meet me at Waimea by the water. He's been waiting for me all these years. He's never shot another surfer. I don't care. I don't show up. I go to Backdoor. It's cause the kooks enjoy the wipeouts more than actually technical and good surfing. It's the same reason Mason Ho doesn’t have many followers despite being one of the most enjoyable surfers to watch. :/

I come here for the epic waves and master skills (of Nath and co), and one thing that keeps me coming back are the continuous good vibes and Stoke you spread. man such an inspiration. essense of freedom. changed my setup so i can surf everyday in socal. i allow my self to be more goofy, air headed and stoic as nate. it doesnt help with the ladies but life is just more fun that way. surf, treat your mind and body with respect, enjoy your limited time on this mysterious planet earth. harness and understand nature through the clockework and power of the waves . thats all folks. the gigs up. as far as we know, we get this one life so the time to become greater, more enthusiastic, more stoked on life, the change you want to see, the positive energy is now. it begins now. one small choice in the right direction after another. build constructive habits. be in a state of awe bv the mere fact that we exist in the first place. the world is your playground. as the tree apples, the earth peoples. fear holds us back, lets become aware of resistance in our bodies and learn acceptance. dont fear what you cannot control. find your heaven on earth, that is your mission.

Yo Nate what watch do you use to track your surfing/workouts?

you focus on the front of your board through your turns a little too much, but if you angle the cam slightly down and look toward the tail you can eventually have the entire rail line in frame through the turns
