Can we just appreciate how amazing this track is? I mean holy shit, it just gives us the vibe of everything Gustavo done for Payday 2's soundtrack, especially Assault #1 and Assault #2. Both obviously being "mexican-esque", which is well, really similiar to bonebreaker, and being everything Gustavo done in the past, being Jokes on you and Underground Lockdown. This is my favorite track from this game thus far.

Assault #2 is giving me strong Razormind vibes. It sounds very similar to the base game tracks, which I like.

This heist's ambience in stealth feels really Hitman-ish (Anathema anyone?), I was almost half-expecting being able to blend in the masked party when I first watched the trailer.

It's not that loud and "to the face", which feels more unique compare to other tracks. Also I admire that this track has 2 assaults, like new Code Silver. Hope, that future heists and PD3 will implement more of this in OST. Other than that - great job, Gustavo!

wow the guitar wow the bass wow the whole feel it has - like this is the END. The final track or whatever. My new favorite pd2 track. 2 assault variations too. AND it makes you feel like a real badass! Now imagine if all payday tracks had at least as much guitar stuff as this one does. Ohh yeah

Gustavo really captured the Vikland experience and made it is own If Payday 3 remasters some of the old heist (like PD2's remakes of the PD:TH mission), I hope to hear Gustavo's take on them. I'd kill for Home Invasion, Code Silver or Gun Metal Grey part 3. Or Pulse Loud. Or even maybe, Razormind 202X... That would be great

Reminds me of like 3-4 years ago, when I was head over heels into PayDay and seeing your OST uploads was everyday routine for me, good to see you're still as efficient

Oh, right after I posted my other comment. Thanks man, this soundtrack was dope in the trailer! Can't wait till the video finishes processing so I can listen to this masterpiece.

The bassline on Assault 1 makes my body react in ways I did not know possible.

The guitars and some segments building up tension remind me of mudeth's works for Antibirth

God the Silk Road songs make me hate being a console player, i understand if they can't add the heists, but can't they just add the heist tracks?

Sadly Overkill would have to rewrite the code for consoles all over again. Payday 2's engine isn't designed for console. Especially if Payday 2 is focused on PC. Luckily Payday 3 will use Unreal Engine which will give us console updates that will be much faster and better. Payday 3 will probably be excellent for all platforms.

@@winterchedder sorry. But yeah adding songs shouldn't be very hard. But to rewrite the whole code from scratch would be very very time consuming.

One of the best tracks honestly, it's so good. This alone makes me want to replay Buluc's Mansion a million times

From the 4 heists om the Silkroad Event these are my rankings from best to worst, this one is the best so far(with San Martin Bank being 2nd, "Almir Breakout" on the 3rd and "Reused Assets Crossing" on the last. Loved the design on this heist and especially i want to honorably mention the Gustavo Countinho and his killer tracks for these heists(on the same level if not better than Viklund or Noren tracks). Sincerely hope that PD3 won't suck ass.

this song is so lit fam both stealth and assault are pushing adrenaline and nerves. and the mixing of the song is really top-notch ehh. there are quite headrooms even though there are multiple instruments layering. Impressive :O

pressing 4 and 7 will put you at the intro to the mexican theme and the start of the electro theme respectively

Im feeling Death Row vibes on this one, feels very similar but this time traditionalized towards silk road.

Hoxtilicious always delivers, your speed is comendable

The payday music is basically the type of music you put from background when you play any action game

so what exactly triggers the mexican part of the assault? I only had the electric part play. Is it on certain maps or its just random chance?

It's usually random chance, but from what I've seen, there's different ways to "increase the chance of getting the alt. version". Such as: -Having a full crew (4 players) -Letting the place fill with cops before the police assault begins (higher chance) -Playing on a high difficulty (DW/DSOD) -Completing Plan A on No Mercy (only works on that map) -Playing the track on the correct heist.

@@hoanghung5542 It's the last heist of the Silk Road arc, but Overkill announced that a new one is coming in 2021. Besides, from what I know the development team working on PD2 is very small, so it isn't stealing human resources from PD3.

I love Gustavo’s work, but I always wish we could get more PDTH style tracks. That OST was much more… unique. I would be happy to see it return in a few of Payday 3’s tracks.

@@Mikusch_ check ModWorkshop, they have everything you need, there's this recent tool called DieselToolbox, it has a nice UI and lets you dive through the game's files, though sound converting is broken as of now iirc, so you have to get a wwise audio converter.

The stealth section of the heist is a song called 'Profondo' on the same album as Payday. To do the music for that heist they play the songs as normal with different post-processing effects depending on where you're stood in the building so it would probably be difficult to get a rip of it, especially considering it plays as a sound effect rather than as music for some reason so you can't mute gunshots and the like.
