Mind Droid sounds like he is supposed to be bootleg Vision. The whole being a machine man who was in a relationship with this universe's version of Scarlet Witch sounds like too good of a connection to not be on purpose. The Green and Yellow suit also shares colors with The Vision's suit.

I thought about making this comparison, because of the things you pointed out. But Vision doesn't have any telepathic abilities... and sometimes if you make a comparison in a video and its not 100% accurate you get edgelords in the comments writing "um actually" comments for 2 years haha. But I do appreciate the comment, and youre probably right.

I like how the show differs from the comics, mostly because the comics feel a bit too grimdark for me

Yeah the show kinda trades in the grimdark for more “edgy” content. I think it straddles the line between being dark and being absolutely bananas pretty well.

They may not be a good team but man do they look cool as heck in live action!

man butcher alone pretty much killed most of payback in the comic, only one they killed as a team was stormfront cause he was kinda second to homelander when it comes to power.

In Nicaragua Payback looked incompetent, killing their own side. But given what we now know about their plan it could well be their incompetence was deliberate, killing their own men to thin the ranks around Soldier Boy.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Tek Knight becomes the new big supe in the next season either. In matter of fact I really hope that it’s the case.

Tbf Crimson Countess revealed that they were working with the Russians. They more than likely knew what they were doing and killed “friendlies” due to their deal to get rid of Soldier Boy

Despite the mature content of The Boys it’s still a great story and it shows that even super powered beings are as human as us.

Soldier Boy in the comics was the most human of Payback which can often be mistaken for cowardice. Like Jerry Smith from Rick and Morty.

Yes its a very disgusting parody too... all things considered.

Tek knight (or whatever his name is supposed to be) is a mix of batman and iron man. He's got an alfred/jarvis-like butler, a robin-esque sidekick, who later became an analogue of nightwing, and he also has a cat themed villain.

Mind Droid is basically vision

the boys is one of the last few good shows thats consistently good from start to finish. lets hope that doesnt change through tech knights potential introduction in s4 or s5 lol

Okay I finished season 2 (I was preoccupied with being at the hospital and watching Kenobi) time to finally watch this video

You know after Soldier Boy killed Countess, I honestly thought we'd get Payback vs The Seven rather than Soldier boy hunting down members of the team.

Thought Payback in the comic was better. They felt so much more like the Avengers and were more interesting characters

it's kinda weird that they can be killed by normal weapons that billy found in that warehouse. the other side effects of compound v should be enhanced durability. though not as durable as homelander normal weapon used by a normal ass guy shouldn't hurt them that much

In the comics all the boys have compound v in their system. However in the show they chose to just have kimiko have permanent V in her system and I assume they only gave butcher and hughie temp V to even out the playing field for a bit

I really do think people dunk on the comics a bit hard. The comics have plenty of good background characters and Easter eggs that fill the world up. One random moment was when MM was telling history of some of the more messed up things heroes have done, and there was a photo of the “JSA/JLA” and we see Aquaman Superman and Batman wearing clan hoods. Yeah it’s messed up, and it totally fits in world. In real life we have plenty of “heroes” like cops, firefighters, teachers, the dude who sells t-shirts round the block, being Clan members

You know it's crazy the more you think about this weird relationship between God, Jesus and even hell the more complicated things become. If God is all knowing he knew Jesus would be sacrificed in the future, if he is all powerful he deliberately let it happen. Even in the story of Adam and Eve if God knew they were going to mess up and let it happen it was planned all along, God wanted us to leave and forever suffer for the sins of our ancestors even though we had no say in what they did or didn't do.
