Props to this man for giving me Pavel start to finish, grew up watching him every night❤
The fact that probably around 75% of his goals were just plain highlight reel material is incredible.

This is not even an exaggeration
Datsyuk single handedly inspired all of todays stars and raised the skill level of the entire league
The only problem with this video is once I start watching, I can't stop.
Datsyuk was always in the right place at the right time. I think he could read the puck better then just about anyone. Red wings today are severely lacking someone who knows where to be and when to be there. There not good at anticipating or reading the puck. Anyone else agree?

"We play good, we play like machine, we win." -Dats
The toe drags, dekes, precision shooting, speed, everything is so incredible it borders on unbelievable.
You can look endlessly at three things: how the water flows, how the fire burns and how Datsyuk scores goals.
It's crazy to think that at the end of his time in Detroit, Pavel was playing through serious tendon issues in his ankles. His hands, his vision, his understanding of how the puck would react every time it touched his stick, he was absolutely incredible to watch. Thanks Alex for your hard work and dedication. If the Red Wings official media team haven't contacted you yet, they're absolute fools.
Look at the scrubs playing for Detroit in the final years of Datsyuk's career. No wonder he walked away and went home. Still many great memories.
He was so ahead of his time man the plays he made remind me of the best players in the league today
fave player of all time
Hull-Datsyuk is one of the most underrated duo’s of all time imo
Just unbelievable. We were so lucky here in Detroit
How blessed we are to have Awood40. Brilliant, thank you!
The amount of nostalgia from my childhood in these clips is overwhelming. “Wooley to datsyuk! Scores!” Makes me feel like a six year old playing mini stix while the wings were winning.
I don't know if we will ever see anyone as special as Datsyuk on the Red Wings ever again. His talent was generational. What a blessing it was to grow up and watch him play in Detroit.
Crazy that you got every goal
he thrived on chaos, his back hand, and his ridiculous hand/eye coordination. he RARELY spent time handling a bouncing puck. touch-release. one goal, you could actually see him on slow motion, coax a flying puck to behave and send it. generational player. the amount of kids playing hockey inspired by his style must be staggering. he was global.
Pavel Datsyuk and Barry Sanders have created more highlight tape than anyone else in Detroit sports history. Let that sink in. 13 was magic.
awood40 is a legend.
awood40, this is why you are a legend 🙌
The way he was so patient, and the puck was a magnet and that back hand I think the 55 minutes that goal was sick, which were many goals. Such a talent. Best two-way player ever. I don't think there was anyone close.
Bro you are a legend for this!! Been waiting on this video, my favourite player ever and I have only seen about 250 of his goals, so i'm happy I can see the rest.
As a Red wings fan, watching the 2008-2009 season with Marian Hossa who had 40 goals of his own... and Ken Holland signs Johan and Hossa leave leaves for Chicago, we could have had at least another cup. This is the best video for ever uploaded to the hockey community. Every player from the 2000-2015's have scoured the internet for Pavel highlights most of the videos don't results in goals. This is the all meat and potatoes.
Love Pavel D! met him in Benihana with Federov and Anna
Thank you.
So looking forward to this, we’ve had some great Russian’s but Pavel Datsyuk has to be the greatest thing to come out of Russia, end of. I’d take the magic man back now, goat……….
can't wait, thanks man
Man, we were so lucky to have him. The league was lucky to have him. Made it look easy, inspired so many, a true ledgend. We love you Pavel LGRW 🐙🏒🤘
Oh man, you’re a total legend Awood! If you don’t already earn checks from the Red Wings, you should. Your work is other worldly. Thank you so much for this. 🎉
The worst thing about this channel is when I haven't seen a Red Wing game and awood40 doesn't put up highlihgts...I know they lost...Still love everything including gems like this one.
You’re such a legend
Огромное спасибо!
I know the Red Wings have quite a lengthy All-Star break but MY GOODNESS. This video and this channel are the stuff of legends. Absolute legend, awood.
Best part is hearing Mickey say "Oh My God" after most of these :)
Thank you Alex (awood). Nobody does it better, we are so lucky to have you
I don't know what is more impressive; Datsyuk's career as one of the best to ever play the game, or @awood40 for making this incredible montage. Thank you!
Damn we miss him
Thank you for all of your hard work. I appreciate everything you do as a lifelong Wings fan (since ‘93)!!!
Too good I miss him.
A true labor of love. Great video.
You’re truly the 🐐 of KZread my man
It's crazy to actually see the players he was surrounded with at the beginning of his career in one continuous video, and then seeing what the talent looked like towards the end of it.
9:35 is unreal
I needed some magic today, thanks!
Спасибо за труды. Отличная подборка голов волшебника.😊 Здоровья и удачи!
oh hell yeah, this gonna be some good shit. thanks legend
3:59 one of my favs - also the other players in that celly is ridiculous 🏆
You have truly outdone yourself on this one. Awesome stuff
Can we wait for Magician's play-off goals compiliaton? Many Thanks for this compilation!

Already did that, link is in description.
It was like sorcery!! Lol
I had this on in the background while working and had to change it because I kept reacting to the goals like it was a live game.
Порадовали... 🤞🏻
Тhanks from Russia
'Ey great job Alex, you did an awesome job. Thanks for makin' this
My goodness. Those perfect blade angle/no effort deflections
П.Дацюк настоящий МАЭСТРО!
One of my favorite Datsyuk attributes is his absolute C H I L L nature after he scores. It’s perfect… Cough* cough* to every single other current NHL player who think they’re something.
В Екатеринбурге Дацук арена хоккея. Спасибо Павел.
How many years have you been working on this video? Wow

I would estimate that 20% of this was edited a year or 2 ago while I was experimenting with other compilation ideas, and the rest was finished in December/January once I realized I was gonna hit 25K subscribers around the All-Star break. This project was not something I ever expected to be able to complete, but it started to become a possibility in the last 2-3 years and just this past summer I got my hands on the last goal I needed.
❤❤❤❤
I used to want datsyuk to sign my datsyuk jersey. Now I want awood40.
Him going to the KHL was the beginning of the end for Detroit 😩
i miss Datsyuk:(
As a redwings fan, I can't thank you enough for these. Do you have a patreon or anything?

Ken daniels and Mikey Redman are the best commenters hands down... Always loved gary thorne too... Lets Go Redwings 😊
Awood, I must know. How do you have access to all the goals, especially the old ones?
Seems like just yesterday I said to a coworker "Did you see that goal Datsyuk scored last night?" And he replied Datwho?
Команда мечты!
He definitely screwed the Wings with his departure, but damnit he was as good as anyone who ever played when he was in his prime.

He skated for two years with severe tendon problems in his ankles. He couldn't hack it anymore in NHL and he admitted it afterwards. He was never as fast as he used to be and for a finesse player like Datsyuk agility is the most important attribute.
Im happy for marion hossa he made a good choice to go to Chicago...it did well for him, can you imagine how him and Datsyuk would have gelled over time, maybe1-2 mor cups for the wings
Великий снайпер
ur a national treasure +1
Ловкость рук, и никакого мошенничества.))
Can you do a Chris Osgood save compilation?
better then Mcdavid that's for sure
Goal at 42:00 was orgasmic

@awood40 oh well keep up the good work 👏
Pavel reallyyy didn’t like Marty Turco
If he was a more selfish player, he would easily have 1000 goals. Luckily Dats was all class all the time
So many buzzer beaters.
Mickey… get the psychologist.. lol
Торонто всех больше пощадил. Всем командам забил, кроме само собой Детройта, Вегаса и Кракена.
Truly the greatest Coyote of all time
Who is this guy? He make others players looks bad
Thank you for another fabulous video, @awood40
If you love the sound of semi truck horns blowing consistently… or the sound of dumbfounded announcers, then the next hour and ten will be a dream!🏒🥅🚨🫵🏻
Thank you so much for the titanic and complex work about the great and brilliant hockey player ♥️ 🏒🤗
Tip drills kids… Tip drills. 🏒🥅🚨
