🇮🇹 Quanto serve la pioggia, per carità, ma non se ne può più! Appena il meteo dona un po' di clemenza, esco a portare avanti qualche lavoretto arretrato. Metto un po' di sabbia sulla nuova pavimentazione a secco, nel tentativo di riempire le fughe e già che ci sono aggiusto (come riesco) una piastrella del camminamento attorno la baita. Ho quasi finito di tagliare il castagno secolare crollato l'anno scorso, così faccio spazio alla legna nuova che deve prendere le intemperie, mentre sposto la vecchia che può essere usata: costruisco piccole legnaie qua e là con materiale di recupero. Infine assemblo e monto i due tavoloni da picnic che aspettavamo sotto un telo da tantissimo tempo, ecco che trovano finalmente spazio nella posizione privilegiata del pergolato, per ospitare tanti amici... vecchi e nuovi. 🇬🇧 How much we need the rain, for goodness sake, but we can't take it anymore! As soon as the weather gives a little clemency, I go out to carry out some backlog of work. I put a little sand on the new dry flooring, in an attempt to fill the joints and while I'm at it I fix (as best I can) a tile on the walkway around the cabin. I have almost finished cutting the centuries-old chestnut tree that collapsed last year, so I make room for the new wood that must weather the elements, while I move the old one that can be used: I build small woodsheds here and there with recycled material. Finally I assemble and set up the two picnic tables that we have been waiting for under a tarp for a very long time, here they finally find space in the privileged position of the pergola, to host many friends... old and new. Welcome back to Chignadì :-)
