Weghorst and Thuram have been linked today. They make sense in his tactical setup. Toby can play that middle CB, he has the passing range. Not sure if Lloris is ideal, he's not great with his feet.

@@nathandavies9411 This guy is known for making avg players better. Roma did not back him at all. He might actually get a tune out of Doherty, but I agree we can do better. Levy wants the young players to get mins. I assume Sessegnon, Skipp, Rodon and Tanganga will get plenty. Maybe Paratici can bring in at least 1 wow signing.

This is the same formation used by Abel Ferreira, another portuguese manager in Palmeiras, Brasil. But instead of a slow build up, he likes a fast paced tempo, long ball counter-attacks. You should give a look.

Tottenham can do well with this guy because the goals come from anywhere and any midfield or striker player at spurs if you shut out son or kane they loose but this tactic with the right players they could win something because with the right player the goals are not relied on son and kane and the goals could come from anywhere with the right players

Is the counter attack option correct when playing at a low tempo?

Correct. The tempo isn’t necessarily slow, it’s slower than typically what the mentality would be. So example, slow tempo on a cautious mentality will be a lot slower than slow tempo on attacking mentality. So though the tempo is slower, it’s only slowing down what would come with the mentality. So we still want to be positive and get players forward, but the football will be played in a more controlled manner
