This was a nice trip down memory lane. Paula was a triple threat back in the day- long before American Idol. AND the choreo was all hers. It’s still boggles the mind to realize how she parlayed a start as a Lakers cheerleader into legit A-list pop star status, but she had the right look, the right moves and the right celebrity connections to make it happen. Whenever a new Paula Abdul release dropped, it definitely was a media event. And seeing the choreo from Cold Hearted Snake ❄️💔🐍 32 years later, have to ssssssay it’s held up ssssssuper sssssstrong and ssssstill ssssslaps! 🐍🐍🐍💯

She was pretty massive. It’s so funny back then just about all of the pop queens had varying blends of singing and dancing talent. From Whitney who could just stand there and sing and blow you away with her voice to Paula who probably had the most limited singing ability but could dance her tiny little butt off. Her voice did have a sweetness to it though that was appealing. Once she established herself with her dancing, even her ballad “Rush, Rush” was huge. Loved Paula.

She was on the "tape tour" with Milli Vanilli. Yet she had some good pop records. The Forever Your Girl album is her best selling and packed with hits.
