I don't think ive ever heard anybody have a bad word about Paul which is rare in wrestling. Most ive heard negative about him was the odd time he got in legal trouble wayy back and the backstage fight he had with Khali.

@@RainbowRoadCrashTest yeah I heard a couple little things years and years ago but nothing at all in the past 15 to 20 years so it was when he was still really young on top of just becoming famous so as he has said before, it took him a while to really grow up and settle down and learn. Only negative thing I've ever heard since then was from a close friend that was in wwe for about 5 or 6 years until a couple years back (I won't mention his name) but he was in the lockeroom nightly lol, he said everyone loved big show and he was a nice guy but my friend said he was a bit whiney quite a bit lol. I know it sounds weird bit that's what he said, just that he would whine alot about diff things if he wasn't happy and that was the only somewhat negative part about his reputation at the time in the back. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall and heard some of it lol it prob was hilarious stuff lol.

AEW just seems to be the place for wrestlers to go to be happy with themselves and their careers. Jon Moxley had the passion for wrestling squeezed out of him, but AEW reinvigorated him and raised him to a level he'd never been at before. Brodie Lee had the run of his life before his tragic early passing. Sting gets a second chance to end his legendary career in the manner he deserves. Christian gets the chance to show how _really_ good he's always been. Even CM Punk was so impressed with what he saw on offer here that it was enough to tempt him out of 7 years of retirement to pick up practically where he left off. I can't wait to see what AEW can do for Windham Rotunda, the former Bray Wyatt, so brilliant but so often buried and misused no matter how hard he worked.

Thank you for the Captain Insano question Chris. I hope Paul's Waterboy gimmick comes into fruition and spotlight sometime soon in front of live AEW audiences. I'm willing to bet he'd be the most cheered heel

It's crazy cause I was a WCW fan way before I was a wwe fan. I remember watching Big Show/Hogan in monster trucks on a building while Tony Schiavone commentated. And to now have them both doing commentary together for newer talent, it's amazing. Wrestling is a beautiful thing. I'm glad Paul is back in Professional Wrestling doing what he loves to do.

He's such a wonderfully charismatic and funny man. Bringing him in as a commentator was a brilliant idea, especially as he still has the option of getting physical if pushed.

Awesome interview, and Paul seems like a great dude. I did have to rewind once cause he said he was in WWE for 4 decades =] Maybe, it felt that way to him

The "Big Show Song" is what got his new moniker over for me. I loved the name "The Giant" when Paul was in WCW and absolutely hated "The Big Show" name in WWE. It was that song that eventually changed my mind. I have to wonder if anyone has had more face/heel turns in their career than Paul Wight?

Speaking of "I was there", I was at Valentine's Day Massacre. I watched the Big Show make his WWE debut. That's nearly 25 years ago. Man, I'm getting old. lol

Down to earth he is, he will always be the big show to me, He isn’t bitter post WWE which what I like to see, and Vince called him on the day he signed with AEW and said good luck you’ll be an asset to AEW, Vince respects Paul a lot

Cvv, you are incredibly talented at what you do so I know and have seen you pull some of your guests along during their interviews when they wasn't feeling it or whatever it may have been at the time but I have to ask, just how awesome and easy was it to interview Paul white ?? Because he just seems like the type of guy that if he likes you, he will be the friendliest, coolest most easy guy to talk too. I could listen to him talk for hours honestly.
