Love Paul saying he'd "been in the ring with beasts, animals, rattlesnakes, guys I couldn't even see". (If you're of a younger persuasion, he's referring to Brock Lesnar, Batista, Stone Cold Steve Austin and, of course, John Cena respectively.) Also, it's still impressive after all this time to see Paul simply stand up and make a huge guy like Hobbs look like a cruiserweight by comparison. Even if he can't still go like he used to, he still has the giant presence.

The problem is the names are the talent. Aew doesn’t make talent. This is the perfect example. The match was garbage and the already made people tried to make it. He's not even good. I could cut a better promo. He made his guy look weak by telling him to smoke Big Show. The guy didn't even try to touch Big Show.

Made Hobbs look weak here. Had him push the hood on the announce table only for Paul to practically throw back it at him and hit him in the head with a flick of his wrist and not flinch in the stare down. Not to mention Callis telling him to "smoke this fool" only to pull him back 3 seconds later, is laughable. At least let the stare down happen longer or tell Don not to say stupid shit that screws the moment up.
