First, awful grammar, and I love sting, he’s my favorite ever and grew up watching Tony’s commentary in WCW, but gold words? He literally says this every time sting appears on screen, it’s almost getting kind of old at this point

Sting and Chris Jericho should team up to go after the tag team titles. At the last minute, Jericho has to bow out and Darby Allin replaces him; and Darby Allin and Sting go on to win the tag team championship. Sting and Darby Allin have a perfect tag team win record in AEW so it makes sense for them to become tag team champions. They probably should have gotten a title shot sooner. Sting and Darby Allin work well together and Sting should win one last championship with someone he works so well with.

The WCW Legends Sting and Chris Jericho working together hopefully.

Don Callis has pulled off the impossible. He made Sammy Guevara a sympathetic baby face.

Yea, didn’t like Sammy myself for the longest time but iv really turned a corner on him and enjoy watching him these days, and I think the reason they had him n Jericho reunite earlier than I thought they would is because Kenny is out and Jericho is supposed to challenge for the tag titles at the PPV

Man, I hope this leads to Sting and Darby winning the tag titles. I'd love to see Sting officially go down in history as an AEW champion.

The way Don brought up the fact he’s been affected and having a hard time with his “family” Kenny being sick but not mentioning it exactly and putting it into this was amazing. He’s broken kayfabe twice showing support to Kenny so I’m glad he was able to do something last night

At this point AEW has no clue what to do with Sammy bruh has had more face/heel turns then anyone in the company

Face then joined Jericho and the group as a heel, turned face with the group, then heel solo, then face with Jericho and then heel with callis now face again?

This is his Face/Heel run in AEW so far: 2019: Heel: Started as arrogant youngster from Inner Circle 2020: Face Turn: Inner Circle turned face when they faced MJF and The Pinnacle 2022: Heel Turn: After teaming up with Tay, they got negative reactions so they leaned more into it 2023: Face Turn: MJF turned on him and he wanted to win World title clean Heel Turn: Turned on Jericho to join Don Callis Family Face Turn: Don Callis Family turned on him

Damn, and Sammy Guevara! This was a phenomenal segment. AEW is figuring out how to pace their story telling and presentation. Great work and changes. As someone who’s been overly critical (even though my opinion doesn’t matter) of AEW, but the last few weeks have made me very hopeful for AEW’s future.

The Don Callis Family.

This segment had all the hallmarks of a quintessential Don Callis Segment It was long, it was illogical, it contained weird AI art, and it included Don turning on someone for basically no real reason.

Don’t know why you thought it was to long, just a normal tv segment, and it really wasn’t for no reason, Sammy was mad at don for not checking up on him when he was hurt, so before Sammy could strike him, his boys got him. Seems like you’re just trying to hate on AEW when so many people are doing it right now, when this was not that bad, some segments deserve criticism, but not this one, and the crowd went pretty crazy to, so just backs up what I’m saying

​@@codyjohnson4174 While I do agree that it has become fashionable to hate on AEW similar to the hate John Cena got just because internet neck beards think it makes them look smart, and I think that is dumb, I also find some AEW fans have gone the opposite direction and have become highly defensive of the whole product, which is just as wrong. The issue with this is it had absolutely no setup or build, it was just yet another seemingly random action from Don Callis, something that he seems to do in his segments, like when he turned on Kenny. It might not have been longer than another TV segment, but it felt longer, because it was drawn out, boring, and felt completely pointless. So many things Don Callis family do seem to be for no reason, or lead to nothing. Like remember when Takeshita beat Kenny Omega twice, then...nothing came of it. Or when Will Hobbs absolutely squashed Chris Jericho....then nothing came of it? Or when Sammy Guevara told Chris Jericho that he never wanted to see him again....then like 2 months later they hug it out after literally no storybeats between then and now? I get this happened because they wanted to find some way to get Jericho and Ricky Starks on the card at World's End, it just felt transparent and clumsy.

Tony hopes we have all had a great "holiday". I'm sorry, Tony.. which holiday are we referring to? Wait you don't mean Christmas do you? That's a naughty word.

All i want in 2024 is the don callis family vs united empire. Here's the pitch Ospreay has been aligned with the don callis family for a while and when he officially starts in aew he is still aligned, then the rest of the United Empire ask why he and kyle left the empire and they explain. The empire wants Ospreay and Fletcher back in so they get a new leader to help Buddy Matthews and they have a blood and guts match with Ospreay and Fletcher leaving the family and the United empire gaining a new member. As well as another built in story with Ospreay and Matthews fighting for the leader
