I'm in my 30's. Stopped skating when I graduated high school, I use to watch this part every single damn day after school before I went out to go skate.. I'm seriously thinking about getting back on a board again.

@@sasproductions701 TLDR. Seriously. You need help. Try to read that spiel from someone else's perspective and notice how many times you were hypocritical, selfish and unappreciative of your so called friends. So much toxicity in one self obsessed diatribe

Same here, stopped after high school but I'm back in the game after 11 years! The body doesn't take slams that could anymore past your 30s, but it's still fun and my wishlist (tricks I wanna learn) is larger than ever!
Still watching this 13 years since I stopped skating. Memories Last forever. Good times

why did none of Prod's pro parts excite me as much as amateur prod (in bloom and city stars) can somebody tell me?
Still come back here once in a while
A real classic that will never die in skateboarding history. 1 of the best skateboarders to ever exist on this planet. I give it up to Paul Rodriguez.
2020 and this is still one of the best video parts in history..
I was 12 when I first watched this. 33 now and watching it again gives me goosebumps. P rod was the only famous person in any category who I wanted to dress like at the time, and to see how guys career unfolded since then is unbelievable. He did it all with so much class
Still gives me chills down my spine. I'm 36 and use to watch this when I was in high school.
Best part is the "wow" at the end, jawdropping stuff from a kid at the time.
Brings back many memories skating during those early 2000 years. One of the best times of my life and will always remember those memories skating created
This part was on repeat for a long time. The music was perfect with his skating.
Still watching this after breaking 20 bones and still pushing to have fun and continue my passionate lifestyle. 23 years later I'm still shreddin, moderation is key take little breaks. Drink water, have fun, eat good and sleep good. Anythings possible with God.
These were the skating days.. great memories!
Miss these days
Best Part of All Time for me !!! That track and young OG Paul !
I got this DVD when I was 13 and watched it everyday before I went out to skate. Out of every part, p-rod had such a smooth style, even as a teenager, and that influenced my skating so much. Since then, I have gotten to skate with lots of shredders, some from this same DVD. Such as Mike Taylor, Mike Mo, Chris Cole. Skateboarding is such an awesome thing to be part of and has always been a tight community, and we had to be! We were the outcasts. The popularity will come and go but it's good to see us stick together and stay friends. We could be from opposite sides of the planet, but if you've got a skateboard, we're instant homies, and that's dope. Shout out to all the homies I haven't skated with yet. See y'all out there.
Watching this at 27. Been watching since 16. It was old then 😅
Switch god for a reason!
He took the switch game to a whole another level
I'm 40, I remember watching this when I was like 18 skating downtown Miami kick flipping 10s and 12s.. me and my friends used to go hard and this video was so motivating.. Bayside 7s, court house 10s.. skating was life
Atiba said it best at the end “wow”…2022 still think this is one of the best video parts ever made
Atiba Jefferson said it best at the end....wow.
"In Bloom," back when today's legends were the up-and-comers.
This brings me back the best days of my life , PROD a legend.
Between the city stars part and this, he solidified himself as one of the greatest skaters.
My favorite part of all time
18 years strong
I always liked prod. He wasn’t one of my favorites but I always thought he had amazing style. After he got hurt, and came back with that “What the prod?” Promo for Nike... I appreciated him so much more. Now that I’m revisiting his old parts I’m blown away that I didn’t see it as much before: one of the really great things about him is the trick versatility. Its a much wider range of tricks than most pros. I think before I thought we was overrated. I don’t think that anymore.
2:41 One of the best kickflips in the history right there.
One of my fav videos and plus this song makes it very special ❤
Still here in 2024 ! P rod was that og switch god who made it seem like he didn't even have a stance

were you around in 2002? that was or at least leading into when the biggest skateboarding ever was, muska would get chased in the streets by mobs of kids, video games, movies, everyone was trying to capitalize.

The absolute best part. No one can beat this. He is the gold standard and is so humble. So much respect.
Never gets old !!
Best of the all times
This part changed the fucking game. Im 35 now and its amazing how fucking far we come in this skateboarding shit
Can't wait for Evan Hernandez' part in 1080p60. One of my all time faves
the chosen one.
I believe the children are the future, teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside, give them a sense of pride. To make it easier.
Simply the best.
Tiny wheels, big trainers, clak clak clak, pop, smak. Bolts. That's what it's all about. The 00s were special and we didn't know it at the time, we were too busy having fun
Melhor época pro skate ❤⚘
I miss these days so much
Paul is so cool. Forever my role model of choice. God bless!
the final switch flip and heel are still blowing minds like 20 years later
I remember debating with my friend on who had the better part. Paul or Evan. We were like 13 and he swore Paul had the better part where I thought Evan did. Looking back on this almost 20 years later... he was right. I didn't realize how comfortably Paul skated switch. Insane🤯
I bought in bloom at a vans skatepark and it was the best shit I had ever seen. This and 411VM changed my life
I remember seeing this at 11 years old and now things change because I got older lol it's hard to explain... KZread and google was the future in the past
The part that put him out to the world
Soooo good and hyped. When i saw this. Another great video by TW S and Little PD on 🔥 and still going strong🔥🦾
This kid has a bright future ahead of him
I watched this in slow mo and omg it gives me the chills
This guy's got talent I think he can make it big in skateboarding!
Prodigy
This is sooo epic! P-ROD on Citystars and és two of my favourite skatecompanies at that time! THE GOAT and and a truly inspiring human being!
Too good!!
I remember back that as a kid I was always memorized at how well each trick is on beat !
how could you not like P-Rod man he's still got it even today
the tricks he does nollie and switch are unreal!
still mind blowing 16 years later. P-Rod is a legend. wish he put out more footy. I mean, his mini-part in Never was fuckin nuts!
A legend!
3:17 the switch steeze came all the way from his feet to his hands
Gap to five switch back lip switch kick and switch heel, nollie flip, some of the best trick selection coming up
Fuck yes! I remember watching this when I first started skateboarding. I was blow away by this part and I remember admiring Prod so much after watching In Bloom for the first time. At the time I thought to myself; this guy is barely older than I am and he has already developed such magnificent skill and style on a skateboard at such a young age... How can I compete? Haha!

Sick switch hard flip in the end!
best part, hands down, style, tricks, music, clothing
Prod is such a legend
this is pretty rad!
❤️

!AWESOME!
Now everyone tries to get so technical. Just simple tricks done well are so good.
If there's one single person i aspire to be like its this man right here barr none

This in bloom video put me on
What a fucking video part. Never seen this before. I'm from the days where you'd have to buy the VHS from ya local skate shop. You couldn't see em all. Again, this part is epic
He skates like he's regular but someone made him skate goofy when he started. The man's a beast!

At 16 his footwork is poetic
Wow, crazy to think how far progression in skating has come. That green rail he sw front boarded Shane o niell sw flip back lipped it in his recent part. Crazy stuff
@utubit22
6 жыл бұрын
I'd say the opposite based off that example. Shane is a robot and this footy is from 20 years ago by a 13-ish year old kid. P-Rod has just always been insane.

@Michael Espinoza lol I most definitely understand the difficulty of every trick, seeing how I am 23 and can’t do any of them. Not knocking the switch front board whatsoever, just said the progression of skateboarding is insane. Also, wasn’t knocking his style either, so why argue a point I didn’t make?
DAMN THIS MAN WAS HUNGRY 🔥
crazy crazy
Is genial !
Wow.
Kinda PURISM of Skateboarding.
Still skating I had stopped for like 5 years picked up my board again
Damn when he rode for Es, all he wore were the Accels and the EOS...Said those two were the best shoes for skating when he was with them. Don't really see him wearing the Tribo or Schemes as much it seemed.
Here befor this goes viral, varial, varial kickflip, VIRAL
🐐
his Forecast part is legendary
@saxenas
3 жыл бұрын
never dug forecast. Didn't have the excitement that prod's in bloom part had. In fact, Prod never had another part after his in bloom part that really gave me goosebumps. There was something about this part... Like u were witnessing the next greatest skateboarder coming into bloom. the skateboarder who would inspire millions. And it's great that he was introduced by the goat Eric Koston. It's like Koston is MJ and Prod is Kobe.
Classic
At 0:40 he kickfliped so quick I had to watch at 0.05 speed to tell if it was a kickflip
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
when he hits the switch flip at 1:53. perfect
