Maguire and AWB were serviceable during the first two seasons when we dropped deep and looked to play on the counter attack. We finished 3rd and 2nd with them playing nearly every game. However, this season we’ve tried to be a more possession oriented side and play with a higher line, which has exposed both of their limitations. They haven’t been flops, but I guess you can say it wasn’t good business either.

Serviceable compared to Smalling and Valencia. Maguire came in and was serviceable just like Smalling was, and Wan Bissaka looked better than Valencia because he was 2 years past it.

He wasn’t wrong though! Some people might say ‘a broken clock is right twice in a day’ as he’s got it badly wrong at times (such as De Bruyne was massively overpriced) but he’s spot on here….. unlike Clinton Morrison and his Wan-Bissaka take 😂😂😂

The de bruyne thing is dumb. Everyone questioned the price tag for him having not had the best of spells at Chelsea. Very few would of thought he would be this good. Unlike the maguire situation.

Because he started his career at Crystal Palace and played over 300 games for them. So he won't exactly be neutral on any issue involving Palace including their players.
