I am so pleased watching this from beginning till end..I was entertained
Beautiful host I love you so much
I feel so much calm listening to this one. Another great song
Thanks you for sharing.Very nice upload 🌳
He got a nice voice and great reaction dear
Congrats for 10k subscribers...you are doing well thanks for sharing
What a voice...he sounds magnificent here. This was practically a Beatles song wirh Ringo ,George Martin and Paul I think it refers to a boat ride him and Linda went on and were smoking some hash when they were asked to stop .. George Martin mentioned that this was one of Paul's best vocals..singing in a very high register. . Untouchable. Try out "Nineteen hundred and Eighty Five "
One of my favourite songs. Beautiful.
Nice Sharing my dear friend 💢👌👌
What a treasure he is around the world. We are so lucky. What legends The Beatles were and still are.
Great song with lovely lyrics❤️❤️❤️

Big congratulations on hitting 10k !!! Wow that's a big milestone
Wanderlust was the song Brian Wilson chose to cover on the Paul McCartney cover album.

One of my favorite songs
One of his best tunes - Beatles standard
I love when Paul uses polyphony!
Paul McCartney Is 80years old.
Really cool and Calm music. I think I love the lyrics more.
I like the calmness of the song and I enjoyed your reaction.
Wow amazing voice I love the sound what a Star thanks sis for that great video one love happy weekend sis
This was one of the first McCartney songs I loved. I got into the Beatles in 1980 from John's Double Fantasy album when I was 9 years old. This came soon after.

McCartney's music is hearty. It sticks to your ribs and stays in your mind forever. Melodies abound this Scotch-Irish Englishman. I am not religious in any way, except music is heaven itself. Paul is our top prophet, or Angel trumpeting goodwill to all, and smothered in love. Hard to beat a Beatle and it just doesn't get much better than McCartney.
Great reaction. Paul has done a lot of great songs after the Beatles. I would recommend you check out 'Little willow' or 'Jenny Wren' - I think you will like both of them
You should react to Distractions by Paul. You will love it! :)
My personal favorite Macca solo song. This version (from Give My Regards To Broad street) slightly differs from the Tug Of War LP version (with the inclusion of the 'running my hands through her hair' melody from Here There And Everywhere at the end of the song). It is still a masterful piece of song making. George Martin dips into his bag of Beatle tricks using French Horns (a la Sgt. Peppers title track) and trombones/trumpets (a la All You Need Is Love). Paul's vocal is perhaps his best vocal EVER! (IMHO) Written about his cannabis bust in 1980 after Wings arrived for their 1980 tour of Japan. With his arrest, Wings was no more. Hence his inclusion of such lines as "What petty crime was I found guilty of' and "Captain says there will be a bust". Fantastic reaction Cim, I LOVE this song. RNB

Wanderlust was the name of the boat they were recording the album London Town on. The captain kicked them off the boat when he 'caught them' smoking pot. I kind of think the song is about John Lennon leaving the Beatles. "Captain's out to make his mark. This one's not for me." And the rift between John and Paul with him deciding to leave as well. "Oh where did I go wrong, my love? What petty crime was I found guilty of? What better time to find a brand new day. Oh Wanderlust away."

@@debjorgo Hi debjorgo. My hunch is there is a conflation of both events. Paul has stated he wrote the song while in Japanese custody. Were charges filed against Paul in the Wanderlust episode? Paul was found guilty of a not so 'petty crime' while in Japan. I don't know if the status of the Wamderlust Captain was elevated, when he kicked Paul and Co off the boat. But the Japanese authorities who busted Macca were feted for their 'fine work and diligence'. It seems Paul's 'California grass' kept getting him in trouble. In the end he got a slap on the wrist and we got an awesome song. Win Win!! Cheers, RNB

@@ricknbacker5626 From Paul's website: The lastest (sic) ‘Sticking Out Of My Back Pocket’ takes a closer look at Paul’s song ‘Wanderlust’, the eighth track on solo album Tug Of War, which was reissued in 2015 as part of the Paul McCartney Archive Collection. Recorded at Air Studios, London and produced by George Martin - Paul’s long-time collaborator, producer and friend - the track actually originated from an event which took place on a boat in the Virgin Islands, where Wings were in the middle of recordings for London Town. Paul explains: “We’d been on one of the boats, and the captain had smelt some pot, and you know, we thought, ‘Well, we’re in the middle of the ocean, and we’re not harming anyone’. “But he [the captain] was very uptight about it, and he basically asked us to leave. ‘Wanderlust’ was the name of the boat. So my song is [sings], ‘Light out Wanderlust’ - you know, we don’t want to be here - ‘Captain says they’ll be a bust.’ It’s all about this captain and him getting uptight about smelling some pot somewhere.”

@@ricknbacker5626 I'm not saying this discounts your account. Paul has a habit of pulling ideas for lyrics from multiple places.

@@debjorgo Let me know if this works: The bulk of the lyrics were about the happenings on the Wanderlust. The catalyst for the song itself was the airport bust, directly followed by Paul's incarceration. At this point in time, Paul may have seasoned to taste, a few references from his then immediate predicament and subsequent conviction to fit right in the Wanderlust theme and lyrics. Have a great weekend debjorgo, RNB
Você podia fazer o vídeo de Ebony and Ivory...música incrível do Paul... participação do Steve Wonder...
This another great example of Paul at his best. I may be redundant here, but Paul said George Martin was truly the fifth Beatle and his touch is evident in this. He's even in the video.
CIMDY, PLEASE PLEASE react to Paul's "LITTLE WILLOW" here is the video...kzread.info/dash/bejne/oKqG0biYfc2WoKQ.html At the beginning he talks briefly about the song, and then the song plays. Paul wrote it to comfort Ringo's 3 children when there mother Maureen died from Leukemia on Dec 30, 1994, she was only 48. She was Ringo's first wife. Even though they were both married to other people, Ringo was at her bedside with their 2 sons and daughter, when she passed. It's A BEAUTIFUL song that can make you shed some tears. I was at my friend's house the first time we played his "FLAMING PIE" album which "LITTLE WILLOW" is from. When "LITTLE WILLOW" came on, it took only about 30 seconds in, and I just BURST into tears and SOBBED all the way through the song, and continued sobbing for 20 minutes after. My friend was trying to console me, but it just didn't help. You see, I was going through a divorce from the love of my life, which totally blindsided me. I was extremely distraught over losing him, and listening to "LITTLE WILLOW" and the lyrics, I felt like Paul was giving me a "hug" and singing to me, especially the line, "nothing's gonna shake your love, take your love away...no one's out to break your heart, it only seems that way......peace gonna follow, time will heal your wounds." I felt like he was telling me that things would be alright. THAT is why I burst into tears, because it just felt like he was trying to console me (of course he wasn't, but it just felt like it) Then just 3 years later, my friend who was with me that day listening to Little Willow, was killed on her way to work. Her car was hit head on by a drunk driver. She was only 40 years old and was one of my dearest friends. Now the love of my life who left me, passed away a few years ago. I STILL cry every time I hear "Little Willow" because it brings all of that back to me, and how Paul, without knowing it, comforted ME that day. PLEASE REACT to it.
beautiful but this is from his film Give my regards to Broad Street the original is from Tug of war , and it is much better for me
It's not really a love song; it's a song celebrating freedom. It's a live and let live song (as opposed to a Live and Let Die song 😉). It criticizes those who would restrict that freedom, especially as regards marijuana usage.
This remake is a bit lacklustre compared to Paul's original from Tug Of War. Recommend you listen to that.
Good melody, mostly useless lyrics.
