I like the fact he changed his mind at the end there. He didn't want to sign any more autographs (who can blame him?) but he did anyway. Class act.

Just amazing....phuking amazing. His popularity never fades. He has been admired, loved, stalked and hounded since he was 20 years old. That's like 50+ years. What must it be like to be so talented, so loved and so rich? I just cannot imagine it.

Makes me feel sad that he can't enjoy a walk.

That’s what I was thinking too. If I were to ever be so fortunate to come across him while he was out walking, I would just thank my lucky stars I got to see him in the flesh but I would let him enjoy his stroll in peace. I wish everyone else would too. He has brought joy to so many people for so many years, the least he deserves is a quiet stroll outside alone.

But he can! Paul has told many stories of how he simply pulls his collar up and looks at the floor as he walks. Only 'stars' that require the publicity seem to have an issue. I have a friend who is a doctor who was called to a house on the street McCartney was born on and when he arrived, around 6am on a summers morning who should he find on the street but Paul McCartney showing Nancy where he lived as a boy. No press, no publicity, no security or chauffeur. Just a normal couple going about their business. A quick nod and a handshake. "Pass my regards to the patient" and they were gone.

Waking up and realizing "I am Paul McCartney" has to be a blessing and a curse. Amazingly he is still behaving like "Paulie" from Liverpool. ! All celebrities should learn from him how to be a class star for the ages. No body guards no posse... Hell of a time to walk the earth at the same time as Sir McCartney.

I have absolutely adored Paul since February 9, 1964 when the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan & heard him sing All My Loving. Still crazy about him today after seeing him in several concerts. Paul is such a nice guy & he was gorgeous back in his 20s, 30s, 40s, & 50s. He still looked good in his 60s & he’s looking just fine at 75.

You can’t help but love this guy. Most of his life has been lived this way and the press can be annoying at times but, he is always very cool and controlled, which makes everyone love him even more. I truly believe it has always been about the music for this man. Fame and fortune have downsides as well, they attract the negatives in our world. I am so thankful to have been part of that generation who grew up with him and the other three. They wrote the book as far as l’m concerned.

Sure it was nice for the first few years, knowing that you being adored and the fans loved you. But it's not always nice, sometimes it goes bad. After couple years it goes very bad, and it was precisely because of this, that The Beatles decided to stop touring back in mid 60's. The scream and fans got so bad, that they couldn't even heard their own voice, mind you there is no hi tech equipment back there such as stage monitor or wireless. Paul has enough money to cover even to his grand grand children, and it's not like he starve for fame. More of it, Paul is notorius for getting annoyed if he's beeing invaded when he is on personal time with family. Paul even retreated to his farm on Scotland to avoid all the crazy rumour thing when Beatles broke up, or when the crappy rumour of Paul Is Dead aired. All the evidence shown otherwise. You are delusional if you think invaded privacy at all times is somethink to be enjoyed, it's the price that unfortunately come with fame.

If you think about it, no one but Paul could have thrived and survived in a band with John Lennon. John was a disturbed, moody, sometimes/often times a real jerk to be around. Paul was the only one out of the other 3 that could stand up to him. He ran block for the other 2 for years when they were together. From that alone, you would think George would’ve had a little bit more appreciation for Paul towards the end. I know George was upset about not getting his songs on album’s / or giving them the attention they deserve. That was not all Paul. John was also neglectful to George yet George sided with John at the end because he only wanted his approval he looked it up to him so much from a young boy. George shit all over Paul and eventually so did Ringo they all did him so dirty in the end. Again, if not for Paul’s amazing demeanor and incredible patients the Beatles probably would’ve lasted a couple of years and never got past Hamburg Germany or the Cavern Club. Facts!

If you don't understand why paparazzi and fans continually hound this man for autographs, photos, etc., read some of the fawning comments below of people who have no idea who this man is except the public persona he displays--they do it because dweebs yearn for this stuff. ALong with Ringo in a public statement in I believe Cosmopolitan Magazine Paul said he is no longer signing ANY autographs or taking selfies with anyone this is dated to about 18 months ago. He is done just as Ringo. George was very nice is true.
