Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZread, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZread. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZread, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.

The tall gentleman with white hair conducting the orchestra was Sir George Martin. He was the Producer on about 95% of the Beatles recordings.

And Sir George Martin also was producer on quite a lot of McCartney's solo projects, which was great for both of them, as they did a lot of collaborations during the Beatles' time frame.

For those like me, who grew up in the 60's and 70's, this was what we had to listen to, this was mainstream pop music, the top of the pile mind you but still, this is what you heard on the radio stations and the top 40's, you didn't have to go wading through miles of banal garbage to hear something good. So, so blessed.

Full circle for Phil Collins as he was a movie extra (sitting in the audience at age 13 or so) during the TV concert segment of the first Beatles film "A Hard Day's Night" (1964). Little did he know.

I had the pleasure of experiencing this live. Last October, Newcastle NSW Australia! He ended the concert with this medley, from the album, Abbey Road. One of my most memorable concerts ever. Paul performed for 3 straight hours, no break, at 81 years of age. True legend!

Yes, I saw the same concert in Melbourne a few days earlier. Paul put on an astonishing show, without any real break. When he came back for the encore, I thought it would be one more big song, but he kept going for another half hour! At 81.

Most of the second half of Abbey Road is a medley of part finished songs. This is how the Beatles chose to finish their decade career together. It's a blinding climax. If you haven't listened to the original.... give yourself a treat.

I'll never forget April 2016 when we drove from Las Vegas NV to Fresno CA to see Paul for my birthday. During the concert he sang "Today Is Your Birthday" to someone but I took it to mean that it was for me. Then he ended the show with GS, CTW, and The End which are my all time favorite Beatle medley/song. It was the best day ever.

Hey Shawn, the word is medley, not melody. A medley is when several songs are played end-to-end. A melody is the tune itself. Don't want to nitpick, I just want you to get it right. BTW, that's a pretty good backing band Sir Paul has, Dave and Pablo already named them. And then Sir Paul picks up a Guitar!

Great medley of classic Beatles' tunes with legendary Paul and his friends. I am sure Phil was thrilled to be playing drums with one of his heroes. But playing in Royal Albert for the Prince's Trust must have been 'old hat' for Collins since he was on the board, playing and singing in many of them. How cool to see all these rock legends on one stage.

Wubba Lubba Dub-Dub!! Love Rick and Morty! This grouping of songs is from the B Side of the Beatles last album 'Abbey Road', a collection of smaller vignettes all pasted together as a 'long' song after Here Comes the Sun and Because. It also reprises itself with some music and lyrics from You Never Give Me Your Money. If you ever have the chance to listen to the B Side of Abbey Road in it's entirety (either here on the channel or on your own time), you will very likely LOVE IT. The songs flow beautifully into one another and the musicianship from all four Beatles really shines bright. The whole album is a masterpiece, but Side B is it's own 'masterpiece within a masterpiece' if I may coin such a term. The End features Lennon, McCartney and Harrison all sharing the ripping lead guitar work followed by one of the greatest Beatle lyrics - "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make"

WOW! They nailed it!! When you listen to the studio version you'll see why it took about 50 people to recreate the magic that is, Abbey Road - or at least the end of it. My only complaint is you couldn't hear the guitars too well at the end, unlike the album that has them almost screaming at each other. I'm so glad this got through and so thankful to the donor who sent this to you. I didn't know this existed either!! I'm also a little bummed you didn't do research at the end. I ALWAYS learn something more about the song or group that I thought I knew pretty well. Great request. Thank you again!

@@ShawnSalvadori Abbey Road was the Beatles last studio album (1969). The medley of Golden Slumbers, Carry that Weight, and the End are the last three tracks on the album and the three way guitar battle between Paul, George, and John is epic. The live version you reacted to was pretty good, but the full band studio version is unbelievable. Listen to it and consider that it was recorded 55 years ago. PS I'd recommend listening to ALL of side two of Abbey Road - Here Comes the Sun, Because, and the full medley from You Never Give Me Your Money through The End (and Her Majesty, which was a hidden track)...
