I have been a fan of the Bues Band for many years and I often wondered whether Paul Jones was a Christian. I only discovered it this week when I friend told me. But all years I was impressed by his joy and sincerety. So,I was right. Like me he found the Lord and he loves to play the blues. Go Paul! Jesus loves you and He loves what you do.

Here it is January 2024, and I'm just now hearing about Paul Jones spiritual path. Exhilarating!

Came across on youtube after after viewing Manfred Mann's Do Wah Ditty Ditty on a TV show with Paul Jones singing & playing those wild moroccos. Ditty my favorite 45 record at age 12, i played endlessly till the grooves completely wore out. I was a big fan. Both testimonies were so beautifully spoken, honest and truthful. Lovely voices as well and scriptures to share. As a flower child of the 60s and now a child of God i am not only a fan, but now a sister in Chist also. Lord bless you both and thank you for this youtube that blessed me 100%.

Thank you Paul and Fiona for the beautiful testimony. It is certainly evangelical in style, which puts emphasis on "believing" in order to be saved. But though this is a necessary condition - as St. Augustine reminds us - it is not sufficient. For Christ does not choose to "save" us without our own cooperation. So after confessing with our lips there is still more to be done. We have to follow Christ in our daily lives. Simply confessing and not living it out will not get us very far. God bless you.

Met Paul a few times and spent some time with him chatting in his dressing room one hell of a nice guy.

So beautiful. I had no idea that Paul had become a Christian. And Fiona's story is mine, however, it took me a bit longer. I renewed my faith in 1998, I'm now 71, and isn't it wonderous to be a child of God?

1984 , God was moving indeed , the Holy Spirit had been working in my life , un -b known to me . I ended up in Amsterdam & there He introduced me to his best friend Jesus . I 've had the most amazing life changing experiences over the next 36 years. The thing was I returned to the UK to face up to my past, with love of Jesus in my heart there I met a radical church , they had a single decker coach they were using for outreach & on the side was written in huge lettering , JESUS 1984 . over next couple years I saw Cannon & Ball come to Jesus & Helen Shapiro . I am praying now for other celebrities to come to Jesus. We need sold out radical Jesus Freaks to lead this nation out of the darkness.

I SEEN PAUL JONES LIVE IN NEW PLYMOUTH NEW ZEALAND. PAUL GAVE ME A CALL OUT THAT NIGHT. THIS LAST MONTH. IN THE MANFREDS. HE WAS BRILLIANT , AS WAS THE WHOLE BAND AND SHOW. AND THE STRANGE THING LISTENING TO THIS,I HEARD FIONA ANSWERED A AUDTION CALL TO ELVIS, THE MUSICAL. THE LEAD IN THAT SHOW WAS Bogdan Kominowski, FROM UNION ST PALMERSTON NORTH A NEIGHBOUR OF MY AUNT! BOGDAN WAS A HUGE SUCCESS IN NEW ZEALAND. ANY WAY, BESIDE THE POINT, THE STORY THESE 2 TELL, IS AWESOME. AND SO REAL AND HONEST.

Very wishy washy. Definitely not the true gospel, unfortunately. More about what God can do for you. Nothing about God being holy and us being born as sinners and deserving God's wrath and punishment. Adam's sin was imputed to us, our sin was imputed to Christ through His death on the cross and His resurrection, and Christ's righteousness is imputed to us when we acknowledge that we are a sinner and accept the sacrifice that Jesus made. I’m very glad to hear ol’ Paul got saved : I’m happy that Paul brought out the importance of praying for ppl to get saved ( I’m referring to his testimony how cliff Richard and his Christian friends had prayed for Paul to receive Jesus , and sure enough his prayers were answered !) I never even knew Paul came to Jesus ! I received Jesus in Hamburg Germany at end of November 1972! It was a very joyful moment for me … some kind soul had sent me a salvation tract from London : after reading it every night after work I finally got on my knees and repeated the simple prayer on tract. After sone weeks I felt led by God to hitchhike to Amsterdam ( in a very cold snowy winter!) I met this group of young Christian believers and I joined them and of course they fed me Gods holy word for many months. Most days we’d all go out witnessing for some hour’s in Amsterdam. Since then I have lived just about most country’s in Europe’ and 15 years in South America as a proactive Christian. Presently I’m living in Hungary 6 years ! Witnessing my faith in Jesus ! We can all do something for Jesus and let our little candles be seen in this very dark world 🌎 we now live in. God bless and lead you , dear Paul and partner in your journey following Jesus!
