I love how much of a perfectionist Paul is about his craft, that's why he's the best in the business. Man doesn't even break kayfabe in interviews.

I love it, I feel like the pipe bomb made everyone feel like Kayfabe was dead and that their characters had to be ultra real and not to commit to their characters outside of the ring. I think it’s part of why brock is so over. You only ever see him in character.

This is him being himself really. He knows not to tell you the truth or what you want to know for business purposes. Don't forget how much of a lying snake Paul is, just look back to all the stories about him in ECW dodging payments and convincing people to hardcore wrestle. Don't get me wrong, he's the most entertaining lying snake I've ever seen, and it goes to show how good he is at his job, but the Paul Heyman on TV is practically the Paul Heyman in real life, he ain't playing no character. His father was an attorney, being good at lying is in the family.

Mjf mentioned a lot of personal stuff and he made punk look kinda weak. Mjf mocked and disrespected punks ufc career, he talked about punk's wwe career by indirectly mentioning hunter and cena, and he even called punk "pg punk" because of how soft and old his become, and that "pg" reference was a jab at wwe and John cena. If you ask me that promo battle was very close but mjf takes the W on that. What he said and the way he said those things was above punk

Austin was scared so he left early didn’t wanna get buried lol. It’s so Obvious. Austin has publicly stated he regrets not working with Lesnar. He didn’t state regret for not putting Lesnar over but it’s plain to see that Austin was in a bad place during 2002 and he didn’t want to suck up to Vince’s ideals. He dodged a train. It worked out for the better because Austin returned a year later and had his final match with the rock. If he had jobbed to Lesnar in 02 then put rock over at mania 19 it wouldn’t have the same effect as it did in this time. His retirement was endearing. He left in the best way for his character- with dignity. And you wonder why Lesnar went over rock, flair, hogan, taker, angle but never Austin.

Paul, talking about title belts " Those who walk around with them, should be forced to defend them " . Amen ! Preach it, Paul ! I've been saying it for over 15 years. I just wish you had said that to Lesnar everytime he took the world title and then refused to even come to weekly shows and PPVs for months, these past 8 years. Like from mid-2017 to late 2018, when the IC Championship kinda became the new world title because Brock had been world champion since April 2017 and was only doing like 2 matchs a year. So the only solo title for the guys on Raw was the IC title, that moment when Reigns and Rollins, 2 guys who were supposed to be in the world title picture at the time, were forced to go after the IC title because the Raw's world title ( Universal Championship ) had apparently been removed from the WWE considering Lesnar was never coming to defend it... IMO, every championships should be defended in every PPVs. When someone becomes the champion, it means the, now, previous champion came to defend the title and gave the, now, new champion an opportunity to win it. As such, part of becoming the champion also implies an obligation to give someone an opportunity to win that belt, by defending it. When a champion doesn't defend his/her title for 30 days straight, he/she should be automatically stripped of his/her championship belt on day 31, the belt would become Vacant, and we'd have 2 people fight to win it ( of course, the champion who has just been stripped of it, couldn't be one of the participants in that match, if they wanted it so bad, they should have been defending it ) . When a champion doesn't defend his/her belt for months, it means every other Superstars are fighting for nothing. Cause at the end of the day, every wrestler's dream is to become a champion. When the champion doesn't defend it for months, it's months without any opportunity for anyone for a chance to become the champion. That shouldn't happen. That shouldn't be allowed to happen. Especially now that they are unifying the belts again. Less belts means less opportunities for everybody else to become a challenger. So if the champions never defend their belts, it makes things even worst. Being the world champion means being the face of the show. Or should I say, the face of the WWE now that there's only 1 world title. Being the face of the WWE should automatically imply an obligation to be there every single week. And defend the title at every PPV. I might never have liked Roman, and probably never will, but at least, as a champion, unlike Lesnar he's there every week. For that reason, I have no problem to have him as the world champion. He fulfills his duties of what being a world champion should imply. I might not like him, but at least I respect him for that.

Existential crisis in Pro wrestling bought Tribal Chief and selfie taking Brock Lesnar personas. Great talent always reinvent themselves when it gets tough. I am sure Brock would not play the amiable character he is playing now if it was not his need to squeeze big money out of WWE. As for Reigns, he got way too many chances to get his on screen persona click. It was now or never. Glad Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar could contribute in making him look the best he ever did.
