Paul Gilbert is soooo incredible. He makes all perfectly....it's more than any other guitar player because his music is so technic but always full of soul and never boring 1 second. More of all that he's so humble...simple..funny...cool...he never played 1 second "The star". But he can be so proud after all these years of hard work...hour after hour, day after day, month after month, year after year... All this time to work so hard and to get this fantastic result... Happy brithday dear Paul...I wish you all the best...love...happiness....fun and more and more success. I'd like so much people who don't listen pure guitar player could discover you !... Paul playing Van Halen, G Moore, blues, Shred, Bach, Vivaldi etc...and finally all these influences made Paul...himself. The one and only..😍👍 Thanck you for all these years of happyness, all this motivation that made me want to work so hard all these years. You are a mentor to me and so many guitarists. Wow - yeah, Happy 50th PG... Great performance all around. Unreal drummer too... Nice to hear Anything for You solo - nasty string skipping at the end. And he's doing all this shit at wicked volume with almost no preamp gain at all - totally amazing. He used to do these lesson seminars when he worked at GIT and you'd always see him reach around the back of some 80's JMC that Lee Jackson added an additional preamp too and it was instant heavy gain. Not here man, goddamn near impossible to rip this shit this loud with such a clean tone. Unbelievable technique... Again, not only a great performance, an unbelievable one !!!

If it is ur birthaday of 50th..then only urge to u paul..one last urge... Stay at 50 forever...dont die... So that our grandchildren and their onward can see the legend with thier eyes.... Love u Mr.fucking amaizing PAUL GILBERT...❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is amazing, not only for Paul, the drummer and bassist are really great. Learn 42 minutes of non stop music is something hard and complex.
🙌 He is the MaN 🤘 Pablo Gilberto 🔥🔥 his riff and everything just still as crazy as he played years ago
It seems like he never gets older.
This was an amazing show. I was fortunate to be right in front of Paul at the front, face full of Marshall and Lang's Kick Drum.

Did they do technical difficulties? I didn't hear it..
25:44 is where things get insane. Not to mention the bass player doing the human capo AND playing his bass!
YOU ARE THE KING MASTER OF ALL GUITARS IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!
How many Notes in this sick little Time ..........Great Professor Paul ;-)
Exhilarating brilliance from start to finish...and they make it look like they're just havin' a little fun up there! No big deal! yeah, right! Gotta mention that Pete Griffin is 100% superb and rock-solid on bass, crucial foundation to this phenomenal virtuosic outpouring...
Playing technical difficulties live, stood up, guitar low down, is just outrageous. Not even much distortion.

No kidding. Holy crap.
paul gilbert has matured so well on guitar, his note choice and control over his tone is fucking damn near sexual.
I was there right in the front row in front of Paul and I can tell you when they started I had my head blown off. The music was so loud and powerful, it was AMAZING...I told Paul "we love you Paul" and he replied "Aww love you too man..." So cool...Its was a brilliant night. Went home to Hastings buzzing my head off...

Hey, if you watch the whole show video I have uploaded on my channel, you can hear yourself saying, 'we love you', and Paul responding to you. So you made it onto the bluray and went global :)

@@thorndog100 Super rare. We only pressed a limited number and sold them on the BEG tour, if you ever see one for sale, grab it as it's the last formal document of Paul's hard rock era. It's totally live, we did not overdub or edit it.

@@squicker Well I am a massive PG fan. I did actually meet him a couple of months later at an Andersons Music Masterclass at Guildford. He didn't seem to recognise me lol. I will keep an eye out for it because it is a jem. Thanks for uploading it..🎸🎶🎸🎶🎸✨
Wow - yeah, Happy 50th PG...
This medley never gets old!! Wow! Drums and bass killing it!! Appropriately played with an original PG model.
Is it just me or are these in chronological order? Racer X, then Mr. Big, then solo material all in roughly order of release? It's like he just gave a synopsis of his entire career to that point. Freakin' amazing. Only recommendation: pin the song list with timestamps as the first comment. 🤘😎🤘
My guitar hero Forever from JAPAN!! LOVE Paul!!
Making any other guitar slinger a nonsense!!!! Simply awesome........and an overall wonderful trio!!!!
Some classic ol tunes in there from Mr.Big days, that was great. Happy 50th Paul, long live Rock.

Obligatory and corny “my music is better than your generation’s music” comment. Sigh.
PG is always armed & ready !!! Thomas Lang on drums = say no more !!!
Awesome. Paul still shredding his socks off.
From Metal to Pop with Mr Big! The Goat!!
Didn't think it was possible but Paul has actually improved with age!!! Kickass!

Unless you have a debilitating disease like arthritis, there is no reason why a musician shouldn't get better with age.
The tightness of the band is amazing. The drummer and bassist are so tight. Very rare in hard rock bands. Also Paul is the best slop player since Jimmy Page, he's way more technical but allows sounds to take on their own shapes instead of forcing control. He so amazing in his approach
AWESOME!!!💯
Killer show Wish I was there in person.
Where's that brave guy posting a comment with time stamps?
Thanks for the upload. Lang is a monster on the drums and it was an awesome pairing with Paul.
How I wish I could shred like Pablo Gilberto...
There are many professional fast guitar players around the world, but paul's live performance is super.
