Are you running the weber line out directly into a cab or another power amp?
@squicker12 сағат бұрын
I took the line out from the Weber Mass into my PC for recording only. I fed it into Amplitube where I used just a 4x12 Marshall Silver Jubilee virtual cab, so I could get that recorded sound. I listened to my real Silver Jubilee while playing, so the Weber line out only used as a recording feed.

As an experienced driver, have you ever driven a Vauxhall VX220 Turbo? It is my dream car and I would like to get an honest opinion on its handling and speed. Thanks Jason 👍
@squicker10 күн бұрын
Yes!! They are amazing cars. My friend (also called Jason) had one back when they were new, I had an Evo 8 at the time. They were essentially matched in performance, but the VX220 Turbo was FAR more engaging to drive, being pure RWD, whereas the Evo 4WD did it all for you. I don't think it has any driver aids apart from ABS, so definitely will keep you on your toes 🙂 A very wise choice for a proper driver's car, although I guess they are hard to find now?
@TheMirrorGuy10 күн бұрын
@squicker there are plenty about, I just can't justify the cost at the moment. I appreciate your feedback, and hopefully in the not to distant future I will be able to justify the cost. My current car is a Mk4 Astra turbo convertible. It has the same 197bhp engine as the VX220, but obviously not the handling. But for £1500 a few years ago now it gives a lot of bang for my bucks. Cheers Jason 🍻
@squicker10 күн бұрын
@@TheMirrorGuy Yeah, 197bhp is enough to have fun. I often think 'less is more'. I'd say my most fun car road is my S2000. Despite what the guy I'm currently debating with thinks, the S2000 has very little outright speed, so it's all about handling and taking things correctly so you can maintain a high average speed, whereas more powerful cars tend to flatter the driver as you can fluff something up, then immediately get that speed back through raw power!
@TheMirrorGuy10 күн бұрын
@squicker The s2000 is a very quick car, and I am much more fun/driver ability driven over full outright bhp and handling assistant gizmos. The one thing that drives me mad sometimes in my current car is when the traction control kicks in and the engine bogs down. That spoils the the driving of the car, as I am quite capable of lifting off the throttle if I need to do so. 👍
@squicker10 күн бұрын
@@TheMirrorGuy over zealous systems are very annoying. My daily driver is an EV (company car) and it’s great to drive but SO intrusive with lane keeping, braking for no reason, binging every time you go 1mph over the limit, it’s more of a distraction than anything else.

I landed on this video semi-randomly via the youtube recommendations. I could criticise and say they are not 'real' songs and that it's just a pre-rehearsed show-off jam, but even so, to play this long with no breaks so impeccably (by all musicians) is truly phenomenal. Top notch performance.
